A: Godox uses t0.1 for their speed measurements. This light is capable of freezing water.

A: This flash has a Bowens Mount so it cannot fit Elinchrom softboxes directly onto the flash. However you can buy a separate Elinchrom to Bowens adapter ring for less than $30.00 on amazon. The adapter ring work well for the most part, the only drawback is that light output of the flash decreases a little because the sides of the bulb are then hidden by the adapter. This effect is barely noticable. So if you already own elinchrom softboxes then you can definitely nake it work with an adapter.

Q: 10. Is the AD600B pistol grip available for purchase for use on AD600Pro and AD400Pro?

A: You can use Auray Universal Pistol Grip BH #AUGRIP with a 3/8" to Male 5/8" Stud Adapter BH #IMCA117 (you must buy both)

[0.38 lb] This sort of unit was basically a dream for me many years ago. It is an excellent balance between power and portability. Now units like this have sort of existed before (Lumedyne comes to mind) but being an all in one unit for the most part and TTL which honestly simplifies shooting, the unit does a great job. Is it built like a Profoto B1? Close and honestly you can get two of these for the price of a B1. Unless you have a plethora of Profoto modifiers this really is a better option 5

[5 x 5 x 4.3"] I purchased the Godox AD600B for my wife for Christmas (she’s also a photographer), and have enjoyed the quick cycle times, as well as the number of settings it has to offer. One of the best parts, is using the Godox trigger, you can quickly change settings on the flash unit...this is very helpful when flash head is higher than I can reach. I chose this B model over the Pro model, and I definitely made the right choice. The portability of this flash is also a plus! 5
