Sporting a stereo I/O path, analog dry thru, and comprehensive controls, the pedal combines UA's digital know-how with analog craftsmanship to deliver three stellar-sounding reverberations for guitar players.

Classic spring, hall, and plate effects are on hand—or rather, under foot. A 224 chamber and a digital plate algorithm are available from Universal Audio via their website and can be loaded into the pedal over USB. In addition to silent switching and buffered true bypass selection, the pedal offers a bevy of control, as well as instant save/recall of your favorite sounds as presets.

The pedal offers three classic verb effects, including:

  • Spring 65: 3 Golden Unit spring reverb tanks pulled from classic 1960s American guitar amps.
  • Plate 140: 3 vintage German plate reverbs captured at the iconic Record Plant studio.
  • Hall 224: A trio of perfectly modeled late-1970s digital reverb algorithms.
In addition to these three effects, you'll have access to more from the Universal Audio website including a vintage digital plate and a model of a 224 chamber.

This dual-processor enables you achieve a powerful and authentic sound, and also facilitates simple preset loading with instant recall. Each effect gives you controls to take full advantage of the tone.

Just like classic and modern UA gear, this pedal is built to last. It also offers both true and buffered bypassing (thanks to a UAD firmware update), as well as silent switching onstage and in the studio.

This pedal offers an analog dry-through path to preserve the integrity of your guitar's tone. You'll be able to use the pedal in mono, stereo, and dual-mono setups, and you'll have the ability to select how the reverb trails off (or cuts abruptly) when you disengage the effect.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. When recording in Timing Video mode with the camera connected via Wi-Fi to my Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone, the phone shows a wallpaper of a beach at sunset rather than a live view of what the camera is recording. Shouldn't I be able to see a live view? It works fine in Video, Taking Pictures and Time Take Photos modes.

A: This is an error either out of firmware or due to a flaw in design. Please contact the manufacturer directly for assistance.

Q: 2. switchable polarity?

A: The M-Audio SP-2 is is a universal pedal. The unit features a polarity switch for compatibility with all electronic keyboards.

Q: 3. I want to only use the left side of a stereo channel - does the balance pot act like a normal pan pot in this circumstance?

A: When only using the L channel on one of the EPM 6 - 6 Mono + 2 Stereo Audio Console, the channel will output the Left signal as a Mono signal. The panning will operate identically to the other mono channels.

Q: 4. Under the heading Works as a Webcam on your Overview web page it states: The camera is able to stream video through its USB port so that it can function as a webcam when connected to a computer. When I use the USB connection the computer (Windows 7) recognizes the camera as a mass storage device and I can transfer files with no problems. However I've been unable to use it as a webcam. When the camera is connected via USB, how does the computer distinguish between its use as a mass storage device and a webcam? What are the camera settings for use as a webcam? How are the drivers installed on the computer? I've never been prompted to install webcam drivers when I've connected the camera to the computer.

A: Hi Joe, when you plug the camera into the computer there should be a blue prompt window on the camera's screen, asking if you'd like to use the camera as a webcam or if you'd like to use it as mass storage to access your pictures. Until you select that you'd like to use it as a webcam it will act as mass storage by default. Once the camera is in webcam mode, however, any necessary drivers should be installed automatically!

Q: 5. can i use this for mixer reverb as foot switch?

A: Typically you would use a momentary switch, not sustain, to latch effects on or off, but you may want to check with the mixer's owner's manual. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/143489-REG/Korg_PS1_PS1_Single_Momentary_Footswitch.html

Q: 6. Does the "Soundcraft EPM6 - 6 " run at 220V? Does this mixer have “AC Input Power = 100 to 240 VAC, 50 / 60 Hz”?

A: Yes, the Soundcraft EPM 6 - 6 Mono + 2 Stereo Audio Console, according to the specifications, is 85-270 V AC, 50/60 Hz universal input.

Q: 7. Does the SJ4000 have a 'one touch recording' feature? For example, if I am hunting for long periods & want to keep the camera off (to conserve power), is there a feature that allows me to simply press one button to power the camera on & begin recording instantly?

A: No! Unfortunately you need to push and hold the Mode button on the front for about 3 seconds and then wait so in all it takes about 10 seconds before you can push the OK button to begin recording. If you have it connected to an External Power Supply with a 32gig card it will record for 3 and 55mins on fine or the best quality

Q: 8. How do I delete files from memory card in SJcam 4000?

A: you can also put in card reader usb stick and plug in computer and delete them

Q: 9. Does a 64gb microSD card work with the camera? I currently only have 64gb microSD cards and need to know if I need to buy new cards. I read in the ad that it takes up to 32gb.

A: I never tried to use 64gb, i have 32gb card and it works fine.I think it not support 64gb this is what the sellers in B&H told me when i was purchasing the camera.

Q: 10. I plug in wireless mics on the line in input, but nothing happens with the faders?

A: There's no reason why the line inputs should not work normally. Try isolating the problem. Make sure nothing is muted, all gain/volume controls are up, and you have a good signal coming into your mixer. Then check to see if all channel line inputs are inop or just that particular channel. If any or all line inputs do not work, do the xlr inputs work? Check to see if you have a signal from the insert. This is pre-fader, so if you do and there is still no output post fader then the problem is somewhere between your gain circuit and and output .

[1.71 lb] This is the best sustain pedal I have ever used, including the much more expensive Yamaha pedals. I can't believe how little this costs for as well as it is built. I have just purchased a second one to keep as a backup: A. In case the other one ever fails for any reason, and B. Just in case they stop making them I wanted to be sure I will always have one. I use mine now with a Casio Privia PX5S stage piano, and it works perfectly.

[1.71 lb] The M-Audio SP-2 has impressive build quality for the $20 price range. The pedal has great resistance and stays firmly in place. I have not experienced any sliding on the floor, nor any signal loss. The signal has been consistent and smooth. I highly recommend this product.

[1.71 lb] I bought the M-Audio sustain pedal for my wife along with a Yamaha Portable keyboard. It works really well with it, and a little cheaper than the Yamaha. It has rubber underneath, and a metal pedal bar, so it feels like an expensive pedal. I have some other M-Audio equipment so I'm pretty sure it will last.
