[0.135 lb] Works great with XF605. Although the XF605 dc input is labeled 24v, it can run on a wide range of voltages (24v is probably the maximum). I was running it at 14v for over a year before switching to this adapter. In the menu settings you can set what voltage you want the low battery warning to come on at, and I think you can set it down to at least 12v.

I am also using it on my C70.

[4 x 1.8 x 1"] I did not need to remove anything on the RS3 Pro to be able to use this plate. Since I use this style of plate on everything, I got the cage pieces for it and now have a solid cage for the C70. Nothing feels loose (Tilta cage...) and the mounting points on the cage are thought out well.

[4 x 1.8 x 1"] This cage works great for the C70, it comes with the bracket to bold to the RF/EF Speed Booster. I was able to clamp a second lav to the cage. I like that its minimal with JUST enough room for add ons.
I personally added a handle to the left side of the camera. I think the base plate and rail add on is probably worth it if you plan on running V Mount in the future. I'm glad I bought it and wish I had earlier.

[0.135 lb] Up until now I have always gone with a Smallrig cage but I decided to give this a chance only because the Tilta mini mattebox is so great.

[4 x 1.8 x 1"] This is my 2nd purchase of one of these useful and lightweight cages. They fit the Canon C-70 like a custom glove and make it easy to attach Tilta's mini follow focus.

I've also added a handle and a couple 3rd party cold shoe mounts to them so I'm able to mount an electronic viewfinder and a shotgun mic.

The quality is very good and the price is reasonable.

[3/8"-16] It's essential to have backup for everything in your kit! I use Canon batteries for a day of shooting but I carry this cable in case I need to run power off my V-Mount batteries. Wooden Camera is a trusted brand I can rely on for any accessory needs.

[0.135 lb] Fits the C70 cold shoe perfectly, was hoping the 2 pins would line up with my Osee G7 monitor but they don't however the included pad works well and the monitor will only twist with some force.

[4 x 1.8 x 1"] I've tried both the Tilta c70 cage and the Kondor Blue base plate. Both the Kondor Blue base plate and the Shape Camera Cage are excellent choices. The Tilta cage seemed a bit flimsy and there is some movement with it even with the side plate attached to the camera creating an issue with hand-holding the grip and using it with the Ronin RS2 gimbal. The Shape cage does not cover the grip which makes it easy to use with the Ronin RS2. The cage feels very solid mounted onto the camera and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design of the cage and the positions of the mounting locations.

[4 x 1.8 x 1"] I've used two other cages on a C70 on two ends of the budget spectrum - a Bright Tangerine half cage setup ($1,000+) and a Tilta full cage setup ($100), both great for different reasons. I decided I needed a minimalist setup that kept the weight down to a bare minimum. I was nervous about leaving a $5,000 investment unprotected, but eventually dove in and bought this skeletal cage. I love it.


There's not much to say about the baseplate, because there's not much to it either. It offers mounting points on three sides and has an HDMI bracket to protect your HDMI from being twisted or bent. It isn't a locking HDMI protector, keep that in mind. In my opinion, this is a more elegant solution. Fewer moving parts, and it does it's job. It's not there to prevent an HDMI from getting pulled out, it's there to prevent bending or twisting damage to your HDMI cable and the C70's HDMI port.


The side plate was a question mark for me, and still is to a degree. I removed my C70's hand strap a while back since the only thing it was good at was being a sweat collector. I installed the side plate and... I kinda like it? I don't see myself attaching much to it, but it's attractive, it'll be functional if the need ever arises, and it's surprisingly comfortable.


The top plate is fantastic. Since it attaches to both the top shoe and the sensor plane marker mounting points, and feels nice and secure. It offers the combination of mounting points I need for my setup. I opted for the cage-only bundle since I already own the awesome Kondor Blue Talon handle that I love.
