Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can rechargeable batteries be used with the receivers?

A: VocoPro SilentPA-SEMINAR10 Wireless Audio System with Tabletop Transmitter & 10 Bodypack Receivers (900 MHz Band) BH #VOSILNTPSM10 accepts rechargeable batteries

Q: 2. Does this mic have a timeout? I use it in a stand and often go to use it and find it powered off. Why?

A: The transmitter would turn itself off after a period of time, if it loses connection to the USB receiver. Be sure that they are paired.

Q: 3. Is this a stereo or mono system?

A: The VocoPro SilentPA-SEMINAR10 Wireless Audio System with Tabletop Transmitter & 10 Bodypack Receivers (900 MHz Band) BH #VOSILNTPSM10 offers mono, single channel audio.

Q: 4. I'm looking for a compatible carrying case, and need to know what the dimensions are for the transmitter, and the receivers?

A: Approximately 3.75" H x 2.5" W x 1.0" D. The antenna is about 2.5".

Q: 5. Is there a timeout feature on this mic? I use it in a stand and I often find it powered off. Why?

Q: 6. The product specs say the reciever takes AA batteries, but in my experience they have a built-in rechargeable lithium. What's the truth here?

Q: 7. Is the VocoPro SilentPA Practice transmitter the same as the VocoPro SilentPA Seminar transmitter?

A: They would appear, and by specification to be similar if not identical.

Q: 8. Can you talk and listen on the transmitter at the same time?

A: No it is not an intercom/duplex system.

Q: 9. I bought this and received it but I must have misunderstood do all three Items have to be used at the same time? If not I am unable to understand how to connect the microphone to just the headphones receiver?

A: No, all three items (handheld microphone transmitter, wireless plug-in receiver with built-in 1/4" jack, and wireless headphone receiver with headphones) do not need to be used at the same time. If you just want to hear yourself through headphones, you can use the handheld microphone transmitter with the wireless headphone receiver as a monitoring system. The plug-in receiver with the built-in 1/4" jack is only needed if you want to connect the mic to a sound system (audio mixer or amplifier for performance or to connect it to an audio recorder). Essentially, this SingAndHear-Solo provides two wireless systems in one package -- one system for performance (to hear the mic coming through a sound system) and a separate monitoring system for headphones. You can use the mic with just one of the receivers. Make sure the internal batteries for the transmitter and receiver are charged so they can work properly.

Q: 10. Where can I buy a couple extra receivers for this?

A: Here is the item number for VocoPro IEM-Digital receiver units: BH #VOIEMDIGRECV.

[16 Channels] quiet and works well, only exception is that the battery runs out fast---4-5 hours

[< 0.5 V] I love these VocoPro Transmitters and Receivers, they work just as good and even better than the more expensive higher-end products for 3 to 4 times the cost. You just can't go wrong with theses. This is a VocoPro secret.

[< 0.5 V] There weren't a lot of reviews available for this, but we decided to take a chance on it anyway since the cost is not that high. It was quite easy to set up and we had them patched into our digital mixer and running right away. Set it to mono initially and so far good feedback from our singers on the clarity of the set. The limiter was definitely kicking in at the loudest points and there would be a second when the sound cuts out at that point but not long enough to throw anyone off. Tested the signal strength initially at about 20m away and it was cutting out at times. Ended up putting the base station 5m from the stage and no issues that that range. Didn't use any of the bundled ears as they were quite basic and didn't sound good. Most got their own ears and were quite happy with the results so far. Good value buy.

[> 100 dB] This unit has excellent audio quality at any price, at this price point, it's a steal. I play the drums in a small group that uses sound tracks and I was looking for a wireless iem system that would help me hear the music more clearly. Our floor monitor wasn't cutting it. This unit did the trick. I can now hear the detail I was missing and react in real time. My timing has improved and the singers like it because they can hear themselves and don't have to strain their voices to sing in tune. I believe it's the digital transmission that gives this unit it's excellent clarity. I haven't seen any other budget iem system that claims to be digital. The receiver pack is metal and is rechargable (charger included). The included iem's are ok but I'm using some CCA C10's. Highly recommended.

[> 100 dB] Internal battery lasts only 4 hours. Cannot charge while using it.
Those are the only flaws.
Digital means a cleaner signal, metal housing, 900mhz is superior to the 2.4ghz ones, the transmitter is rack mountable, pricing much better than sennheiae

[> 100 dB] We’ve only used the system one Sunday, but the reviews from our members were excellent. They said they heard the message better than they had in years. They were excited.

[> 95 dB] This worked literally right out of the box. I was so excited to get it that I figured I'd hook it up and try it out before reading the instructions. I tried it out at home due to the fact that we can't engage in any public gatherings right now. I hooked it up to my computer and I was able to freely walk around the house with this strapped to my belt while I listened in on the office meeting. No interference or dropouts around the house but I don't know if that will change in a public venue. The supplied earbuds are OK but not great enough to reproduce the entire spectrum. They're fine for normal speech but if you want to hear a full band mix or even your personal music collection, the lower frequencies get distorted. So I decided to plug in my expensive set of earbuds and I was loving it!

[< -95 dBm] We us this in our church nursery and foyer for pastor sermon audio and it works perfect. This product has excellent range and the audio is crystal clear. We have the transmitter connected to our sound board through an XLR cable and the receivers are connected to computer speakers through the 1/8 output of the receiver. If you are looking for wireless remote audio this system works great. Note: Distance we are transmitting to foyer is approx. 40 through 2 walls. Nursery is approx. 60 through 3 walls.
