The Sony MPE-200 Stereo Image Processor Reviewis a multi-image processing platform that simplifies 3D workflows when combined with optional software. The high-speed processor that can perform signal processing of HD live image inputs, correct stereo source misalignment, and output signals all in real time. Equipped with a high-performance Cell Broadband Engine microprocessor and RSX graphics processor, the MPE-200 receives up to four HD/SDI signal inputs and has four matching HD/SDI outputs. It can be easily integrated with Sony cameras and switchers to automate 3D stereo image correction and reduce discomfort when switching between images with widely different depth content.

Several software applications can be installed together in a single MPE-200 Stereo Image Processor, and you can switch between these applications as required via a computer GUI. The MPE-200 platform line-up includes the optional MPES-3D01 Stereo Image Processor Software, MPES-3DQC1 3D Quality Control Software, and MPES-2D3D1 2D/3D Converter Software for enhancing 3D production creativity and productivity. Other highly sophisticated solutions include the MPES-FX01 Programmable Effector Software for advanced and striking visual effects and the MPES-VC01 Virtual Camera Solution Software for virtual panoramic images. Multiple software applications and application data can be stored to the MPE-200's 160GB internal HDD.

Q: 1. Will it work with the NEX-5T (I have not been able to find any info regarding the difference between the 5T and 6 in regards to the accessory port).

A: Unfortunately, this microphone will not work with the Sony NEX 5T as it lacks the Multi-Interface Shoe that the Sony NEX 6 has.

Q: 2. Is it compatible for Sony A7RII and how is the pro audio tone? Is it quality deep tone? I worked in post production so I'm seeking best deal for external mic and I might buy lavaliers to switch out too but need a very good tone mic.

A: This is not compatible with the A7RII

Q: 3. Is there any way to monitor the audio during the recording? On cameras that do not have listen port?

A: This microphone has no headphone monitoring capabilities.

Q: 4. Will this work with a Sony RX100VII?

A: The Sony ECM-XYST1M is not directly compatible with the Sony RX100VII.

Q: 5. Shoe is too large for my HDR-PJ 760 is there a work around?

Q: 6. Is this better than the rode video mic go?

A: I have never tried the Rhode microphone. What I could tell you is that the Sony Mic on my A6000 is phenomenal, I have used it on multiple recordings and it is crisp and clear.

A: Yes, this is compatible with your Sony A7 III

Q: 8. Is it compatible with the Nikon D 7000

A: Not sure, but I would assume so. I have a D3200 and it works fine, especially on windy days with the feathers applied.

Q: 9. do you have tot change settings on the a6000? just got this microphone but when I review the testing videos it sounds like is using the built-in microphone

A: Check your manual, it may be connected through the horseshoe mount on top of you camera. However if it is, while you can get sound with you video, you may get camera noise when operating the zoom.

Q: 10. The specs don't mention frequency response. Is that info available?

A: 70 to 20000 Hz per the manufacturers specifications

[512 KB (PPU)] These are used in our studio and provide excellent reproduction for the musicians. For the money, its' impossible to find a better buy. Construction is average, but no one in the studio has damaged one yet. The 6 foot cords are augmented by 15 ft. extensions. They are reasonably comfortable to wear for the entire day, on and off ear. We would wholeheartedly recommend these low cost phones for anyone, expect for those who do mixdowns, in which case you get what you pay for. 5

[3.2 GHz] Don’t understand the lack of reviews as a top seller. This thing is an amazing controller! I have a Joue and K-board pro 4 and this ‘pad controller’ is better than either of them. The flexibility is truly amazing, the pads feel just right. I was dubious of the hex format and 3rds tuning but with some practice it makes it wonderfully easy to freely improvise. Combined with Geoshred/Audio Modeling it is just amazing. Probably my best music purchase after my RD2000. Thanks B&H for the foresite to stock this wonderful controller. 5

[256 MB] I've never had a bad experience shopping at B&H. I needed a Velcro latch bag for a Garmin GPS that I had recently purchased elsewhere. Quick, easy, cheap and it fits like a glove. Salesman couldn't have been nicer. 5

[3.2 GHz] I was looking for a case for my new Tascam DR22WL field recorder when I found this. Works really well, though it's about twice as wide as what I needed. Trying to match the size of a smaller recorder is almost impossible. The dimensions just don't match anything out there. Even though Tascam now makes an accessory kit that has a soft case, it's one size fits all. This fits my recorder better! I've also picked up a World Tour field recorder gear case as well, which holds my Tascam in this case nicely, also all the accessories in the outer zipper pocket. Very nice together! 5
