The XLR Female to Right-Angle XLR Male Cable, 12", Blue Ringis a thin and lightweight cable perfect for interconnecting field gear like Lectrosonics, Sound Devices, Zaxcom, Zoom, and many others. Built for the rigors of indoor/outdoor location work, it features black shells, gold pins, and an extremely flexible, crush-resistant, tear-resistant, and cold-resistant PUR Polyurethane jacket that's only 3.2mm in diameter.

The 12" cable is terminated with a straight XLR-3 female connector (with a blue ring) at one end and a low-profile, right-angle XLR-3 male connector (with a blue cap) at the other.

Low-profile connectors considerably reduce the weight of your rig and allow for beautifully organized setups. They can be disassembled and repaired on the fly. You can adjust the low-profile XLR cable outlet orientation to either 3 or 9 o'clock. The cable is assembled in the USA.

A: It will if you are using it with a SmartLAV or some other mic with a TRRS jack. If you are using a cable extension to get more distance between you and the subject, remember to put the extension cable between the Adaptor and your camera, not between the SmartLAV and the adaptor. Also remember that a long unbalanced cable connection might generate noise. So there are some things to keep in mind but the adapter should work with a DSLR, transmitter, or audio recorder with a 3.5mm TRS input.

[Black] This is a great quality coiled XLR cable. It is about 6 to 18 length. For camcorder applications, be aware that there are 2 90 degree connectors which can make the camcorder side connection difficult or impossible because of the 90 degree connector. If you need 2 90 degree connections on a short and compact XLR cable, this is perfect. 5

[0.165 lb] I purchased the Kopul Right-Angle Male Mini-Jack to XLR cable to use with the Tascam DR-60DmkII recorder, and it works perfectly. It's soft and flexible and seems durable. The only quibble I have is the notch on the male XLR connector. Due to the experience of previous reviewers of the DR-60D, I am wary of plugging in any notched connectors. Other Kopul XLR cables are not notched and work worry-free for me, as well as perfectly. As I have stated, it is just a quibble; otherwise, the Kopul right-angle mini to XLR cable works perfectly. 5
