[4 x M4 Screw] Nothing to complain about other than perhaps the rear cap doesn't stay on very securely. It feels like a rubber material that just pushes onto the RF end and it can come loose. Cool thing is that it fits nicely in the DZOfilm 10 lens case if you have a spare hole. 5

[1.8 oz / 50 g] I've tried both the Tilta c70 cage and the Kondor Blue base plate. Both the Kondor Blue base plate and the Shape Camera Cage are excellent choices. The Tilta cage seemed a bit flimsy and there is some movement with it even with the side plate attached to the camera creating an issue with hand-holding the grip and using it with the Ronin RS2 gimbal. The Shape cage does not cover the grip which makes it easy to use with the Ronin RS2. The cage feels very solid mounted onto the camera and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design of the cage and the positions of the mounting locations. 5

[1.8 oz / 50 g] I’m glad someone finally made this adapter. It’s easy to install and works great. I attach the grip to the FX9 body for use with my Easyrig. Perfect placement. I think it would be great if this came with an adapter that converted the stock Sony hand to receive an ARRI rosette. Then, you could still use the stock handle if you wished. The benefit being that you could mount the grip to the body, the Sony handle, or any third party rosette extension arm. Otherwise, the Sony arm becomes useless. 5

[0.15 lb] This is a great lightweight cage for the C70. It took 5 minutes to assemble. The top handle is sturdy. I like the bracket that holds the HDMI in place so I don’t have to worry about it bending in my camera. 5
