Q: 6. I want to use this for a webshow, make my own website and then use this to record, edit, and sometimes live stream all with a green screen. Would this work or what model should I look more into?

A: This product is geared towards web conferencing, not a Webshow live stream. You may be able to use it for that purpose, but it is not recommended. My suggestion would actually be to purchase a Camcorder that you can record directly to, which you can use for the recording and editing. Then add a capture device to it which will allow you to web stream. If use the free program OBS to stream you will even be able to do a Green Screen effect. Q: 7. Can you show a slide presentation that is on your computer through this video conferencing system?

A: That should be possible, but this is really a matter of if the Video Conferencing Software you are using allows such functionality. This product works with WebEx, Lync, Skype for Business, BlueJeans, Zoom and Jabber.

Q: 8. so how much is the required and not included room solution software license ?

A: We do not see any additional charges related to software licensing for the Logitech RoomMate BH #LORM. Logitech does offer optional extended service and warranty products that have separate pricing.

Q: 9. Can you control this camera's PTZ Via the USB remotely?

A: Yes, it is possible to control the camera's position remotely once it is connected to a computer. If you are using this camera with a system like Skype for Business you will even be able to control the camera through Skype.

Q: 10. Can the camera connect to the base wirelessly? And can the base connect to my network wirelessly? Basically, I want to avoid any cables going between the TV and table, but I want the camera above the TV. Thanks!

A: We're afraid not. This is not a wireless system, the various parts connect to each other with included cables and it connects to a computer through USB.

[4.185 lb] The HDL300 exceeded our expectations. When hosting video conference calls in our ~25'x20' room, the audio pickup was clear and noticeably exceeded the quality we got from our Polycom Trio 8800 with external mics. When using an audio bridge for dial-in, the ability to pick up voices anywhere in the room was clearly better than the Trio 8800, but the audio quality did drop to conference phone quality due to the compression done by the audio bridge codecs/telco providers. We have a white noise generator in our office space and a moderately noisy A/C unit in the room, as well as in-ceiling speakers which we play the audio through. The unit does an exceptional job at filtering out the background noise and preventing feedback, while leaving voices audible. The audio sounds natural and not overly processed like some conference phone's noise-cancelling algorithms, which drop audio if there is a cough, for instance. We don't use the built-in speakers, but they seemed to offer good quality sound during our initial testing. Installation and configuration was fairly easy if you're even a little bit handy. We paired it with the Logitech Rally camera and were very pleased with the results. If you're struggling to be heard, and this is in your budget, I don't think you'll be disappointed. 5

[4.185 lb] Realizing the hybrid office is here to stay, I designed a home office wanting to have pro-grade gear like our office-office conference rooms. The Rally Camera has been a flawless addition, allowing me to be fully present from any spot in my home office large room; and to position the camera so I'm always speaking directly to my colleagues / interviewees with good eye contact and no nostril cam. 5

[10 to 95%] I wish there were more 6k options on the market, but this is the only option against the Apple XDR. I wish the non-removable telescope of a camera didn't exist on this thing, but the display is great. 5

[10 to 95%] The wife uses this for her conference calls and I use it for my varying photographic needs (macro to portraits). The quality of light is perfect as you get to choose whether it is cool or warm with an easy selector, and then you can choose the lighting strength just as easily. I was so excited to get the light that I didn't realize it was a kit - what a great surprise! 5

[4.185 lb] I really like this monitor; but, I do want to add that if you are going from a VGA connector to the HDMI connection I found I had to have a HDMI mini adapter for the HDMI as my graphic board only had a small HDMI input...perhaps this will help someone in the future. 5
