Individuals looking for a portable, lightweight, and uncomplicated PA system will be pleased with the Galaxy Audio Traveler TV8, an all-inclusive speaker system with Bluetooth, a wireless microphone, and an integrated media player. The wireless handheld dynamic microphone and single-channel receiver are included to get you up and running right away. The media player can play WAV and MP3 files from CD, USB, and SD cards.

The PA utilizes 120W of power to drive the 8” woofer and 1” tweeter. The rear panel offers four inputs, accommodating XLR, 1/4”, RCA, and 3.5mm connections, great for adding wired microphones, instruments, and line-level sources. Each input provides its own channel volume control, while the onboard two-band EQ allows you to fine tune the overall audio mix. A master volume is on hand for global level adjustments.

At 35 lb, the PA itself is relatively easy to carry about town. However, a retractable handle and wheels have been built into the Traveler TV8, making transportation even easier. The modular design allows you to plug-in optional Function Modules for feature expansion. You can add additional microphone receivers or exchange the RM-CD for the RM-CDV, which offers compatibility with DVDs and provides a video output for competitive Karaoke sessions. The Traveler TV8's wireless receiver offers a range of 160 to 230’ in an open field. This will come in handy, as the supplied mic offers 96 selectable channels and a range of 200’ line of sight.

A: The microphone that comes with the system is proprietary, and Pyle does not offer it alone. You can get a wireless system that you can connect to one of the 1/4" inputs on the front of the speaker. Pyle makes a dual microphone system that is very affordable and will work. A: The microphone provided with this Galaxy PA System does not include a mic clip. I would recommend the WindTech MC-3 Rubber Clip for Wireless Handheld Microphones, B&H # WIMC3. This clip is designed to accommodate the large diameter of a wireless handheld transmitter.

Q: 3. The bass powerful and treble crisp sound? Does it have volume control?

A: Yes, this does have a volume control, and it also has Treble and Bass controls so that you can adjust the sound how you prefer. The frequency response is good on the low end, but it is an 8" speaker so you wouldn't expect the low end thump that you would find with larger (and much more expensive) systems. But overall, for parties at home and small events, this is a good choice.

Q: 4. Can you record on a digital recorder out of this system?

A: Recording is possible from the RCA and 3.5mm Outputs.

A: Just one disc may be loaded at a time.

A: No, the CD200BT only has RCA outputs. The Aux input is a 3.5mm jack designed for inputting devices (i.e. phones, computers, iPads, etc.) using the devices headphone output. For a turntable, you need a receiver that has a turntable input (this has a special preamp for the turntable) or an external turntable preamp that will then allow you to plug into any receiver that does not have a dedicated turntable input.

[4 µV] I bought ION speaker from COSTCO to travel with me. HOWEVER, the sound quality wasnt satisfied since there was too much bass and I couldnt control any EQ. At least, this PA system allows me to control Treble and Bass with same (or cheaper) price and wireless MIC. Also, there are more inputs that I can utilize it as monitor or instrumental amp. Battery can be debatable, but I dont have problem running it for 4 hours, and thats enough for me. If you are searching for under $200 battery-run PA System, this is the best so far I found. 5

[1x CD/DVD Drive] I bought this CD player so can play my CDs , old CDs I have for years, also this is small so I don't need much room. Pro: This CD sound good with Volume control, some music have hi gain, some have very little so this Volume control help a lot to adjust the gain you like. cons: Because this CD player is not built for plug/play in home but to build for something else which are already have the wire harness, so be careful, you have to talk to the Salesman before place order. 5

[Handheld] I am so impressed with what this speaker can do. I originally purchased it because I lead quilt guild meetings and most of the ladies are hard of hearing, so I wanted something with a wireless microphone. The more I played with it, the more I realized it could do! I can easily connect my phone via Bluetooth and play music that way, or I can connect my laptop to the speaker and play music from a CD. The instructions are obviously written by someone who doesn't speak English as a first language, but I was able to figure everything out pretty much by myself anyway by just fiddling with it. I am so happy with this purchase and can't wait to put it to good use at my meetings and in our back yard when we have friends over! 5

[1x CD/DVD Drive] Beginning with quick, on-time delivery, great packaging, quality product, and accessories, to the superb performance of the speaker system itself, this was a home run experience. Within 30 minutes of delivery, I had the unit powered up, the included wireless mike installed and working, connected a wired mike I had on hand using the supplied connector and paired my Samsung Note 9 smartphone to the blue tooth channel. I then linked up to an Internet music source and called my 4-year-old granddaughter and 6-year-old grandson in. I gave each of them a mike and found a Christmas tune they were familiar with that I could stream on our Bluetooth channel and cut loose. It worked great. Admittedly, this package will be put to greater use than this simple example, but there's no doubt in my mind that it will work just as well. 5

[Handheld] I needed a CD player for my home office, and this was perfect. I have a large classical CD collection and I am not ready to give that up. The unit is small, but the sound is large. Very happy with the product, and impressed by the next day delivery! 5
