Q: 1. Will 3.35 x 3.35 filters fit in this one?

A: Yes and no. the paperwork supplied with this matte box expressly claims cokin P filters will fit "loosly in slot" I assume that means without the filter tray, though I cant see how that works unless you rotate the back filter position and slide the filter in sideways, otherwise it would simply fall out of the bottom

Q: 2. Does this include plastic or metal filter trays?

A: The matte box comes with one of each 4x4 and 4x5.65 metal filter tray.

Q: 3. how to connect this matte box with 24mm rokinon cine lens?

A: These clamp onto the external diameter of the front of the lens - in this case 83mm diameter.

Q: 4. I am looking for the adapter ring to use this donut with my 4x4 Cavision matte box. Can anyone point me to that adapter?

A: We would have to recommend not using this on a lens that is larger than it's rear opening. We feel that vignetting would be far too likely.

Q: 7. May I use this matte box with the Zunow WCX-80 wide angle lens on a Sony FDR AX-100 camera with no vignetting? Thanks

A: This combination is unknown and the answer would only come from testing the components together. Having said that, we feel that the camera with its lens at the widest mm setting plus wearing the Zunow most likely will cause vignetting with the matte box. The vignetting should go away if you zoom in slightly.

Q: 8. Will this fit a Tilta 3 stage matte box?

A: This bright tangerine matte box accessory will only work with bright tangerine matte boxes.

Q: 9. Does this come with the two mounts to attach it to the bottom of the matte box?

Q: 10. Can fit Cokin P Series filters (86mm)?

A: Is Cokin P filter 84mm in width instead of 86mm? cokin "P" filters fit loosely in filter stage slots only without using a filter tray. You can use filter tray locks on the side of the matte box to hold it in place.

[0.4 lb] I use this on my NX5u and it works perfectly with the widescreen aspect ratio. It is made of a soft, but rigid rubber. It's a GREAT alternative to the more expensive matte boxes. 5

[0.4 lb] This little beauty works so well on my little PXW-X70. I use it mainly with a B&W 3x3 polariser. The filter holder itself works just as well in the field as anything by Vocas or Chriszeil. The first stage rotates smoothly. Unfortunately there is no tightening screw to keep the first stage in place. To tighten it you need an Allen wrench to hand. And as anyone who uses a clamp-on matte box knows, you really need to tighten the filter holder notch once you've put the filter in or it will fall out the bottom, there being no rails to prevent it. Apart from that, no complaints. The rubber lens hood is the same size and shape as a standard Fujinon broadcast lens. You can use the good old Cavision French flag with this matte box. 5

[0.4 lb] I needed a Matt Box that I could use for both Video and Photography, to manage polarizers, grad filters etc. without having some massive apparatus hanging from the end of my camera. Well built and designed system that accommodates multiple mounting options i.e. direct lens attachment or rail system . For smaller DSLR camera systems, this is perfect. I also use this matt Box on my medium format camera system and it works great. If you need something a bit larger, Cavision also makes a 4x4 version. B&H has a wide variety of both 3x3 and 4x4 filters from Cavision, Lee etc. to fit either model. 5
