Q: 5. What is the Mixed Fiber material exactly? Is it as good as carbon fiber?

A: Unfortunately Cavision does not offer the exact make up of their mixed fiber. Generally this will contain another component such as fiberglass which will offer a less costly alternative to a pure carbon fiber pole and still offer similar durability and lighter weight over an aluminum pole.

[53 x 2 x 2"] Solid quality, and even gives me room for a second stand!

[1.6" / 4 cm] this is the perfect soft mic case for on the go. the divider protects the stands from scratching each other, along with the velcro straps. i was able to squeeze four short boom stands in it, two on each side. it has a clear label holder to indicate which stands in each bag, though i wish it came with labels. i bought four bags.

[1.6" / 4 cm] This is an amazing case considering most don't even reach beyond 40! The only issue would be that the width so you can fit the XLR connector along side the boompole. It would be a tight fit if you had the K-Tek Klassic Series Traveler K-230CCR 6-Section Boompole with Coiled Cable at 4.2' minimum length, but since I have the K-Tek K-202CCR 5-Section Graphite Fiber Boom Pole at 4.1' minimum length I have the extra inch for my XLR connector on top to fit in nicely! So other than that, this is a great boompole case! Love the length! And very sturdy!

[53 x 2 x 2"] I chose this boom pole because of it's versatility. At it's shortest is just a hair over 3' and fully extended just under 12' and weighs just over 1 lb. When I'm in the field, especially on ENG gigs the extra length really comes in handy. The twist locks are reliable and work well. One issue I have with this pole is that the rubber cap (has a side exit!) seems to fall off fairly easily. Even before I modified it by cutting a slice so that I could run an XLR cable through to the existing hole it would fall off if bumped. Gaff tape fixed this in just a few seconds.

[51.2" / 130 cm] Very handy for storing and transporting K&M stands. The divider and velcro straps are good for keeping things organized.

[53 x 2 x 2"] This boom pole is good. Lightweight. If you are a freelance videographer on the go worth their salt, you can wrap an XLR cable around it and record audio perfectly. The boom pole containing cords aren't worth the extra money, unless you've got it.

[1.6" / 4 cm] Bought this case to hold a few standard-sized mic stands w/o booms. Perfect! We are even keeping the mic holders screwed to the stands as there's just enough room to fit. There's a thick divider and straps on either side to secure stands on either side of the divider. This worked really well and keeps the stands from sliding around inside the bag. Threw a few mic cables in (2 20-foot, coiled up), and it's still a good fit! The case is quite lightweight, but made of some tough nylon. It's not very thick, but for me that's a plus. It's not padded, so gear won't be well-protected, but for mic stands, I'll take the sacrifice for losing the extra weight to carry. So I'd sum this up as an inexpensive, lightweight, case for 2 standard mic stands. I suspect you could add the booms, too - there's enough room. I'm not using K&M mic stands, but something very similar. One thing I wish it had: shoulder or back strap(s). The handles are perfect, but I'd love the carry it on my shoulder instead. Still, works for me.
