The Shure BLX4 Wireless Mic System with SM31FH Headsetis a single-channel tabletop wireless receiver compatible with the BLX1 bodypack and BLX2 handheld transmitters. Compact and lightweight, it houses internal antennas and is ideal for portable use.

The BLX4 features one-touch QuickScan frequency selection to quickly search 123 available frequencies and locate a clean RF channel in case of interference. It employs microprocessor-controlled diversity technology to reduce dropouts. BLX systems allow up to 12 mic channels to operate simultaneously in each frequency band, at a range up to 300'.

Located on the front panel, an LED display shows the RF frequency group and channel, while two LED status indicators inform you when the system is ready to operate and alert you if your audio is clipping. The receiver offers 1/4" and XLR outputs for connectivity to PA systems and mixing boards.

[Auto-Scan] As a group fitness instructor, I depend on my mic. The connection on my old mic, finally went and I needed a new mic quickly. ... [12] I bought this for our football stadium. We had a lavaliere mic for the ref and it was not working out well. Changed to the Shure SM31FH mic and all is great. I paired it with the Shure Wa360 In-Line Remote Mute Switch and all of the stuff works GREAT!!!! 5

[2.55 lb] Was looking for a decent but not so expensive headworn mic to sing while I play my drums, and I came across this. After reading all the reviews of pros and cons I decided to try it out. I couldn't believed how well it worked when I first used it. To me, it's pretty balanced for what I'm using it for. Unless I have extra money to spend on a super expensive one then I will, but overall, Price is Great, Quality was Great!!!!!! A power button would really be a plus. 5
