A: This could power both if you also get a power cable that will go from this plate to the Nano motor. However, the Nano motor needs 14.8V to run at the full torque, whereas this plate only outputs 7.4V from the second port. We would not recommend trying to power both off the L-series battery as that will use a lot of power and cause the battery to die fairly quickly. Using a V-mount battery to power both will be a much better option.

A: No it will not this device is only designed for sending power to the camera. However using this product should not affect your ability to use an SSD. This product connects to the power port on the camera (2 pin lemo) the USB-C side of this cable is for connecting to a power bank. this means that you still have access to the cameras USB-C port for connecting to an SSD.
