[Sony L-Series] This is a great way to run a camera off a v-mount battery or any other battery with a d-tap out. It is working flawlessly. It's perfect for long shoots or when the camera needs to run for a long time without the need to change batteries. It is also great for table-tops, match cut shots, stop motion animation shoots or any situation where you can't move the camera or it is difficult to change batteries, like when on a jib. The larger batteries with a d-tap last much, much longer than the NP-FZ100 camera batteries. One v-mount battery lasts all day with my Sony A73. I love that. And if you put your camera on rods, they make mounts for v-mount batteries, so this could used for a great run and gun set-up. Perfect for long days of shooting or to impress a client with your cool, bigger camera rig. The Sony A73 has a little notch on the battery door to pass the cable thru for this dummy battery. It was very easy to install. The build quality of this dummy battery is also very impressive. The coiled cable is a great length that stretches out to 24, but coils up nice and neat when you do not need the entire length. This dummy battery also comes with a built-In voltage regulator to protect everything, which is great. Another added benefit to this dummy battery adapter is even if you are using the regular camera batteries, having this in your kit is a great emergency back-up for power. I like having that as a nice peace of mind. I'm very happy with this product. Again, it works just as advertised as, and is a helpful addition to my camera package. [Sony L-Series] This dummy battery is exactly what I needed for my FX30 camera. Its perfect for filming YouTube videos, podcasts or anything really if your filming in one place. Having to constantly stop and swap batteries isnt ideal, thats why I am really glad I bought this dummy battery. So far its been great and has made it super easy to film without worrying about my battery running low. Well worth it in my opinion and highly recommend. 5
