This 58mm Haida NanoPro Magnetic ND 2-Filter Kit 58mmfrom Haida NanoPro Magnetic ND 2-Filter Kit 58mmcombines a pair of variable neutral density filters with a magnetic filter ring for a fast density adjustment range from 2- to 9-stops. The aircraft-grade aluminum ring screws onto the 58mm front filter thread of your lens, allowing either the 2- to 5-stop filter or the 6- to 9-stop filter to be attached or exchanged in just seconds. The filter ring features front filter threads, allowing it to stay on the lens and have a lens cap attached when not in use.

Made of multicoated optical glass, these variable filters allow exposure to be more fully controlled, creating longer shutter times for increased blur when shooting water and moving subjects. Also, adjusting the lens aperture allows control over the depth of field.

The quick operation of this magnetic filter kit allows landscape, macro, and other photographers to adjust exposure quickly while working under changing lighting conditions.

Note: The NanoPro Magnetic Interchangeable Variable ND 2-Filter Kit is an independent magnetic system that is not compatible with other Haida magnetic filter systems or with magnetic filter systems from other brands.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this hold a 1.6mm-thick coking Z-pro filter? They are 100 mm wide, but not sure if the thickness will work here

A: Yes, you can that size filter with this filter holder.

Q: 2. Will this fit the 14-24mm 2.8 GM lens ?

A: If you're referring to the Sony FE 12-24mm f/2.8 GM Lens, these filters are not compatible with it.

Q: 3. I have a Canon 80D with 4 Canon lenses - all with 67mm filter threads: 18-135 IS USM, 10-18 IS STM, 100 L Macro, and 70-300 IS II USM. So I would just get the M10 Kit with the 67mm Adapter ring, right? But now I have added the Canon 85mm 1.4L IS USM lens that has 77mm threads. So which is the best way to go? Get the 67mm with a stepup adapter to 77mm? Or a 77mm kit with a step down adapter to 67mm? Or would both options be identical? Can the 67mm ring be stepped up to 77mm?

A: Since most of your lenses are 67mm, then get the kit with 67mm adapters and then just step up to 77mm or you can purchase the 77mm adapter ring separately, either way is fine.

Q: 4. Hi, I have never used a rear filter before, if I am adapting the Tamron 15-30 G2 to the Nikon Z-Mount via FTZ adapter, will this rear filter affect my ability to adapt the lens? Thank you

A: No, the use of the Haida Rear Lens ND Filter Kit for Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Lens would not affect the use of the lens on the Nikon FTZ lens mount adapter.

Q: 5. Is there room for safely stacking filters (even if the clip that holds them 'gains' a bit of height)?

A: Unfortunately only one filter can be used at a time.

Q: 6. Does this kit come with the light barrier to fill in the space of the CPL if you dont want to use it?

A: Yes the Haida M10 Filter Holder Kit comes with Gaskets for Light-Blocking Seals.

Q: 7. Will this work with the Nikkor Z 14-24 f2.8 S lens hood?

A: Yes this would be compatible as long as you have this item: https://bhpho.to/3kQReoh

Q: 8. how EASY IS IT TO unscrewing adapter ring. i AM AFRAID TO STRIP THE SCREW. ANY TIPS?

A: Fairly easy with the right precision tool but would highly suggest tread lightly and only perform this on a lens that has an expired warranty. Any self damage caused will not be covered by manufactures warranty.

Q: 9. Does the kit come with the rear filter holder adapter? Neither of the previous answers answered the question. There is no slit.

A: Yes, the Haida Rear Lens ND Filter Kit for Sony FE 12-24mm f/4.0 G Lens' filter holder can be seen in the second product image on this product page. The filter holder slides into the lens’ built-in filter slot, which is basically just a small lip that is found on two-thirds of the backside of the Sony FE 12-24mm f/2.8 GM Lens.

Q: 10. Will the Holder work with adapter ring of different size?

A: Yes, there are many different size rings to use. Click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/39oWYAe

[58 mm] I own the Lee Filters 'Big Stopper 3.0 ND filter (10 stop) and have used it quite often. After seeing the reviews on this filter, I thought I would try it against the Lee system. This filter produces more natural and warmer colors than the Lee, the contrast seems to look a little better. Haida's M10 filter system doesn't leave a lot to be desired though but their ND filters are definitely worth the investment!!! This filter will work in the Lee holder,as it comes with a layer of foam that can be applied to keep light from bleeding past. I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend this filter for anyone who wants to do long exposure photography.

[1.225 lb] Purchased the 6 and 10 stop versions to pair with the Kase K9 holder. Both of these filters create superb results with no loss in sharpness and no color cast whatsoever. Made the switch from a screw-on variable density that always caused problems under bright and side lighting conditions. These allow very accurate control of exposure to create blurred water / clouds. Easy to clean and sheds water well. Great value.

[58 mm] I have had the Lee Filters NDs for several years, and after trying Haida's 6 and 10 stop filters I will not go back. The Haida ND filters have a more natural color balance then the Lee. I had purchased their filter holder system as well but I didn't like it and kept my Lee holder system. This filter does work in the Lee holder though it does fits very tightly, not necessarily a bad thing as it is light tight. I am very pleased with these filters!

[Multi Coated] I ordered this to see if did more than the Kase polarizer I have. It does. I like it more also because the magnet is strong enough for it not to fall off but also allows you to adjust the pola (turn it) without trouble unlike the Kase filter. So for me I like this buy and would recommend it. It is also worth noting that prior to needing a magnetic filer I only bought B+W filters for the past 15 years so this was going out on a lim but it worked.

[58 mm] I've never used an HD filter before so I went on live chat to B&H and they were so helpful in pinpointing what was going to be best filter for what I was using it for.

This filter was recommended as it has thin glass so I would hopefully not get the vignette when using through day.

I have not been disappointed. The filter arrived 2 days after purchasing it online and the results I've got from using it have been incredible.

I would definitely use B&H again when deciding on my next photography purchase. They were extremely knowledgeable and this has resulted in me getting the product I was hoping for.

[58 mm] I've been using my new Hasselblad X1D II for about six months, and needed to improve the prospects of sky effects, as Scott Kelby discusses in his classes. This filter provides that capability for the XCD lenses
