I have been told that my audio is crystal clear during my calls. The onboard mute button avoids the delay in fumbling with a mouse trying to unmute myself using the MS Teams or Zoom mute icon.

[Low Cut/HPF] The Polsen UB-OB-33 is a great addition to my laptop.

I use it primarily for Zoom/Teams/Google calls. I did some before and after testing and everyone on the other end said that my voice sounded much more clear when using this mic.

I think the place where this mic really shines is when you have more than one person on the call. Because of the pickup pattern, you can be on any side of the mic and it's going to pick you up clearly. It's really nice to not have to be constantly pointed towards the center of the mic.

This mic feels super sturdy and well made. It's also plug and play and bus-powered so no need for batteries.


Lastly, the mute button in the center is a great addition.


Overall this mic is a great upgrade from the mic inside my laptop.

[Low Cut/HPF] Really good little mic and a great addition for my zoom/teams calls. Been making a ton of these video calls from my computer (for obvious reasons) and this has been very helpful. My computer set-up has the built-in cpu mic too far for good audio. I've had to talk very loud for people to hear me well. This mic has improved my voice a lot. Now I can talk normally with zero problems and the sound quality is much better. Although I have not been in this situation, I think it would come in handy when there is multiple people also. Just place it between the people talking and you should be good to go. Also, the build quality seems fantastic and super sturdy. Made of metal construction with some nice weight to it. It feels like it will last a long, long time. I love that it has a mute button on top of it, with a bright light, letting you know clearly if it is on or off (green on, red off). This is super convenient. No need to search around with your mouse to locate the little button on the zoom/teams app. And no more talking with the mic off accidentally because the lights make it obvious. This is so helpful, especially when making a presentation. I also love that it comes with a long usb cable that disconnects from the mic itself. Like I previously mentioned, my cpu is a good distance from me, so having a nice long cable makes it very easy to connect. That's fantastic and appreciated. Also, having the cable removable is great, because that connection is usually the weak point that could possibly break. This eliminates that which is nice. [Nickel] We are using this microphone for Zoom meetings. It really helps pick up our voices since the laptop does not. Everyone can hear us now.

[Bus Power] Just what I needed: A very simple microphone to use at my desk for virtual meetings. I've heard that it sounds a bit low, but that can be adjusted and I just make sure to place it close. Great for the price.

I don't have to worry about the kids breaking a $300-600 headset. I just give them one of these and it works fine for dialogue. Not as good for singing, but they will get you by.
