A: I contacted Gusden (the manufacturer of the Moza Air 2) concerning your inquiry. Unfortunately, they state they cannot guarantee the performance of the SureFire 18650 Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery with Charging Port (3.6V, 3500mAh) in the Moza Air 2 gimbal. They instead recommend the customized Moza Li-Ion Battery for Moza Air 2 (4-Pack), B&H # MOMCG7, for use in the Moza Air 2, and cannot guarantee compatibility with the Surefire battery option.

A: Is hard to say which ones do and which don't, moza has made it difficult to know with their batteries being slightly different.

However, this will work for any typical camera, typical add-on camera flash, typical toy, or typical small appliance such as a flashlight or portable audio recorder. If you believe your intended usage is one of extra high draw then you might want to discuss your needs with the manufacturer of the equipment you are using to see what they recommend. Either way, all batteries do have some internal impedance so you can expect any battery to become warm during use -- especially rechargeables due to their ability to allowance for higher draw than alkaline or carbon-zinc chemistry batteries.

[3.7 VDC] This will be my 4th Coast product. A problem with one product was very easily solved by customer service. This battery will be used as a backup for one I already have. It’s function great for about a year now. Has a good run timé considering the amount of light the headlamp produces. So far I’ve been very impressed by the quality of products and the customer service. 5

I had never seen a battery you could plug directly into it to charge it up using a c style charger the same one i use to charge my phone. [3.7 VDC] Fits and works perfect with my coast headlamp. At first I thought it was broken because my 20watt charger wouldn't charge it, however there must be a max wattage for the charger because when I plugged it into a 3 or 5 watt charger it charged fine in about 3-4 hours. 5

[1] The last battery, another Zithion-X battery that came with my headlight, lasted for three years! Three years doesn't sound like a long time, but it is for tools I use at work. I work inside an aircraft hanger in East-Central Florida, where the heat index in August can hit 125! With an average humidity in excess of 80%, the heat, being dropped onto a concrete floor, and generally being used 5 and six days a week in hostile environment, no other battery has come close! 5
