Designed for education, government, healthcare, retail and wholesale, banking, and financial and insurance industries, the Liebert GXT5-3000LVRT2UXL UPS by Vertivfrom Liebert GXT5-3000LVRT2UXL UPS by Vertivhas a 2 RU form factor and helps to ensure the health and availability of your IT infrastructure with premium power outage protection and continuous power conditioning. With online double-conversion technology, this UPS helps protect critical equipment in both centralized and edge-network applications against outages and other types of power disturbances without drawing on battery power, thereby extending battery life and minimizing replacements. The GXT5-3000LVRT2UXL can provide up to 4 minutes of use when running a full load of 2700W and up to 12.6 minutes of use when running a half load of 1350W. When connected to an external battery cabinet, it can last for up to 22.2 minutes when running a full load or up to 54.6 minutes when running a half load. It also provides surge protection as per ANSI C62.41 Category B and its batteries can be recharged up to 90% in three hours.

This UPS features an output of 2700W / 3000 VA, a nominal input of 120V at 50/60 Hz ±10 Hz, an input voltage range of 60-150V, a NEMA L5-30R and six NEMA 5-15R (four programmable and three non-programmable), a 10' NEMA L5-30P input connection, a sine waveform output, a USB-B port, a Serial RJ45 port, an IntelliSlot port, an external battery connector, and a 15A circuit breaker. Included is a tower stand, 4-post rack-mounting kit, USB cable, and Vertiv Power Insight management software. Support is provided by a limited 3-year advanced replacement warranty and a limited $500,000 connected equipment protection plan.

[NEMA L5-30P] I recieved this UPS free as a trial to see how it compares to other UPS battery backups that are available. This is very easy to plug in and has 10 total outlets, 5 battery & surge protected outlets and 5 surge protected outlets. There is a panel to easily monitor the power. All cables included and easy to read directions available online. I would recommend this to my family and friends 5

[48 dBA] I got this more as an emergency backup battery than as a UPS for my computer. I have some critical appliances that require a short by heavy load and can't really have them down for one or two days if the power goes out. I'm reasonably sure this UPS will keep them running on minimal usage during a short power outage. Either that or I can run my internet gateway for several hours. Either way, it's some peace of mind. 5

[4 Minutes] I've had several; the worst was the most expensive. Complicated, difficult to set up; the batteries died the day the warranty expired (or close). The VERTIV UPS, however, is easy to instal and provides superior software. Simple to set up and to maintain settings and see condition. While I cannot, as yet, comment on its longevity, so far its a bargain and highly recommended. 5

[Lead-Acid] I received this product for free to review. I like having a battery backup option for my devices I use on our entertainment system. That's what I use it for. It's quite heavy but also small enough to be out of the way visibly. It has plenty of ports to accommodate everything I need to be plugged into it. Overall, very good product and would recommend. 5

[1] I found the Vertiv Liebert PSA5 battery backup to be very effective in running my in home office equiptment. I must mention I received this product as a free sample to review. I was not monetarily compensensated to give positive or negative response. Upon opening the product I found the product suprisingly heavy for the size. It is a good size to have on desk top or easily conceal under the desk (my preference). Product is immediately ready to plug in and work.The outlets area all on the back 5 with battery back up/surge and 5 with just surge protection. If you have non-standard or wide bodied plugs you may need to alternate the spaces as the outlets are close together. Testing the efficacy when I cut power to the unit the battery immediately kicked in. There is an alarm when the unit battery starts that can be silenced. I would suggest this as I could hear it in my bedroom. Overall great unit, I ran Mac desktop for 5 hours and the battery was still going. 5

[110 to 125 VAC] Needed a power backup for my security system. I have the 1500 and the 700 unit and they both perform reliably whenever power goes out. Some people complain about monitoring software, but I haven't had any issues. Windows automatically detects it as a backup battery or you can install Liebert software for a few more options. 5

[Lead-Acid] I reviewed a 1500VA UPS unit earlier after purchasing it last summer for my work-at-home workstation. It is still working fine. When the UPS's were offered again on B&H's daily Deal Zone, I purchased three additional units - (1) 1500 VA and (2) 500VA. As I commented earlier, the packaging does NOT come with an Installer/User Guide, but it is available online and a MUST-HAVE. I proceeded to charge the units for 24 hours prior to adding the intended devices for UPS/surge protection. The next day, the alarm sounded on one of the 500 VA units, and it displayed Error Code E06. The User Manual identified the Error Code as, Battery Charge Failure - Turn-off the UPS and call Vertiv technical support for a replacement unit. I emailed Vertiv and their Customer Service representative responded immediately and walked me through the replacement process. Vertiv replaced the unit under warranty and provided a shipping label for returning the defective unit. Vertiv's customer service is outstanding, just like B&H's. I previously gave this 4-stars because of the lacking User Guide, but that has been forgiven. All four of my Vertiv Liebert UPS units are functioning satisfactorily. 5
