Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this auto focus?

A: No, that is a fully manual adapter. It has no electronic connections. And it seems there are no others that have Autofocus.

Q: 2. Hello.I have Olympus Zuiko 50 1.8 and the 65-200mm 4. Will these lens work on the Sony a6500 with this adapter? Or will they work better on my Nikon D7100. I thank you for whatever info you can give me.

A: Good day. I am very happy with my OM-NEX Adapter. It allows me the ability to use older and solidly built lens at a fraction of the cost. By using vintage lens that are manual focus, forced me to slow down in my photography and this had enhanced my awareness in composition. I have seven vintage lens that I use sparingly. I hope that everyone would use these lens as a training or teaching tool in their photography.

Q: 3. With this work for a r6 and a Sony FE 50 1.4za?

A: There are two 50mm f/1.4 ZA lenses - the FE for the Sony E-mount, and the Planar SSM version for the Sony A-mount. This will not work with the FE (this one: https://bhpho.to/3lFqrLs), and only the A-mount version (see here: https://bhpho.to/3lzt01l). But the adapter will mount onto the R6 and work as long as you have "Shoot w/o Lens" enabled, as the adapter is manual and will not electronically communicate with the camera.

Q: 4. Weight?

A: The weight of the Urth Manual Lens Mount Adapter for Leica M Lens to FUJIFILM X-Mount Camera Body is about 0.28 lbs.

Q: 5. Will autofocus work? FTZ first gen adapter only worked with some Nikon-F AF glass but not all. FTZ II foxed that problem.

A: No, auto focus will not work with the Urth Manual Lens Mount Adapter for Nikon F Lens to Nikon Z-Mount.

Q: 6. Compatibility Sony 6000 alpha camera with Olympus lens Zuico Digital 50-200mm, 1:2,8-3,5?

A: This is for the older OM 1 manual lenses. No electrical contacts and I believe the mount is different as well.

Q: 7. Can I use the tilt-shift adapter without the tilt-shift effect? (Just as a regular OM-E adapter)

A: Yes the KIPON Tilt/Shift Lens Mount Adapter for Olympus OM Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera can be used as a regular adapter by not adjusting the tilt or shirt movements.

Q: 8. Does this have electronics so focus by wire works, or is it for manual lenses only?

A: Urth Lens Mount Adapter Compatible With Sony A (Minolta Af) Lens To Sony E Camera Body is a manual focus adapter.

Q: 9. Does it work with other e-mount cameras, such as sony alpha a6000?

A: Yes, it works with all e-mount.

Q: 10. Will the aperture ring on the lens work correctly with this adapter?

A: Yes, the aperture ring on the lens will work fine, of course there are no electronics in the adapter so it will be entirely manual or have aperture priority function.

[Sony E] Got this to adapt my collection of Takumar lenses for my new S1H. This adapter feels perfectly sturdy and does what it was designed to do. Extra meaningful because it let me adapt lenses left from my late grandfather. Definitely the adapter to get for Leica L-mount cameras.

[0.315 lb] the unit is nicely made and the lens appears to lock up firmly.

unfortunately the infinity focus is off w/ some lenses.

it may be the case that the lenses i'm using are the problem

[0.315 lb] After more than 25 years with Minolta and SONY equipment, I have made the switch to Canon. This adapter is indispensable for the transition. It allows me to continue using Minolta lenses while I decide which Canon lenses to buy.

[Sony E] Very nicely made adapter with proper fit to Leica SL series cameras. I purchased this to connect my SL2-S to an astronomical telescope focuser using a 2 nosepiece. What I learned upon receipt is the difference between M2 (1.0mm thread pitch) and T2 (.75mm thread pitch)... most astronomical fittings are T2 and will not attach properly to M42 without an M2-T2 adapter. These exist but are not easy to find. Fortunately I did source one and the adapter now works perfectly for my intended use.

[Sony E] At the time of purchasing this product (and as I write this) there was only one review (which gave it 1 star). I feel somewhat compelled to balance that out. I'm using it with two older f-mount lenses (Nikon & Tamron) and they both work great! They fit incredibly well with a solid connection and I have no complaints whatsoever with this product. It does it exactly what it's supposed to do, and it seems to be made to last. Enjoy!

[0.315 lb] The Nikon F to Canon RF works if you have a lens with manual aperture adjustment. I bought it for the Zeiss Milvus 15mm lens and it works fine with it.

[0.315 lb] This is an excellent adapter. Very solid and well built and fits tightly... no wobbles of any sort.

2 errors from Urth on this adapter though: I have added photos highlighting this

1. On the Nikon Z teleconverter mount, there is a small notch in the adapter ring which is absent on the back side of the Urth adapter.

Therefore if you intend to use this adapter with Nikon Z teleconverter and Nikon F lens (Nikon's FTZ adapter cannot be used because the adapter hole does not allow the Z teleconverter protruding element to pass through); so if you intend to use this adapter with Z teleconverter, you will have to grind out the notch either in the teleconverter mount ring (not recommended) or grind a notch into the back side of the Urth adapter... recommended as it costs only 39$.

2. Additionally, Urth has unnecessarily put a very small screw on the back side of the adapter which also prevents it from screwing into the Nikon Z mount. We need to remove this screw as well.

Urth needs to made these 2 updates to their future adapter manufacturing runs.

I am now able to successfully use a Nikon Z camera plus Nikon Z teleconverter + Urth adapter and Nikon F lens in manual focus mode.
