In addition to over-temperature protection, the Trio pad sports FOD (Foreign Object Detection). If a metal object such as a pen or a key is accidentally placed onto the charging pad, the integrated FOD circuitry will detect it and automatically cut the power to the pad.

This pad works with any Qi-compatible device, such as select Apple iPhone, Apple AirPod, Apple Watch and Samsung Galaxy products. The smartphone ring supports charging through cases up to 0.2" thick. Please note that phone cases with metal plates or credit card holders are not compatible.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there a fan in this unit?

A: No, the Satechi 165W USB Type-C 4-Port GaN PD Desktop Charger (Type A US), B&H # SASTUC165GM, does not have a built in fan.

Q: 2. Does this set come with the chains to raise and lower each seamless?

A: No it does not

Q: 3. Could you use this to charge 4-5 V-Mount batteries overnight?

A: You could potentially use the Satechi 200W USB-C PD 6-Port Desktop GaN Charger to charge 4-5 V-mount batteries, but this would depend on the wattage requirement for each battery.

Q: 4. Can you use it with three vinyl drops?

A: I asked Savage Universal about whether it could hold Savage Vinyl 9 x 20 (weighs 29lb). The product description states that it comes with:1 extra long crossbar (70lb max)2 regular crossbars (25lb max each)But they also recommend using sandbags on the stands for safety.

Q: 5. Can you change the direction the scroll wheel moves the text on the screen?

A: You can change the scrolling direction of the Satechi M1 Wireless Mouse on the Mac but cannot on the PC. You would adjust this on the mouse settings of the OS.

Q: 6. Does this device require an annual support contract?

A: The Videon EdgeCaster EZ Encoder (Single Output) provides a one-year warranty on the product from the manufacturer. Still, for additional support, advanced replacement, hardware upgrade, and exclusive early access to beta features and apps, the VCare and VCARE+ should be considered. Q: 8. What accessory do I need to have a pull down and pull up system?

A: Your hand. Manuel

Q: 9. Is it portable?

A: The polevault system comes apart and transports just fine. The cross bars which hold the paper slip off pegs on the stands and each bar telescopes inside itself for reduced length and better portability. The stands fold up fine as well. The only part that might present a transport problem is the paper roll itself typically 9 feet or 12 feet in length. Otherwise transportable in most any vehicle.

Q: 10. How good is this PD power adapter/charger for cameras like Nikon Z5, Z6II, Canon R6, R5?

A: According to the manufacturer, the 75W Dual Charger will support charging for the devices listed. Hope this helps.

[1.485 lb] Does everything it says on the tin and was compatible with all of the devices I needed it to work with. Good construction, doesn't get too warm under heavy load, and comes with a FANTASTIC quality (and grounded!) mains cord.

Don't let the lack of a USB-IF certification deter you - the certification process and requirements for multi-port chargers is outdated and convoluted, so most manufacturers of modern high-watt adapters don't bother trying. Most importantly, it IS ETL certified and thus compliant with North American safety standards!

Don't expect the wimpy little vertical base to hold it in place without help from adhesive,
especially if you're using thicker cables for higher charging current. This didn't apply to my case because I intend to mount it under my desk with dual-lock strips, but still worth mentioning.

Also, it sometimes takes a few seconds to establish the PD handshake (especially on the high watt ports 1 and 2) but this is completely normal even though it's a bit longer than many other PD sources. For what it's worth, this implies that their protection and PD negotiation logic is conservative and prioritizes safety over activating the port immediately.

Although this is far from exhaustive and I don't have any devices over 65W to test with, this was my test gauntlet as some of these (especially the Switch) simply do not work with Power Delivery that's not correctly implemented:
- 65W (19v) Dell Inspiron (laptop)
- 45W (15v) Nintendo Switch Lite
- 45W (15v) Steam Deck OLED
- 18W (9v) Samsung Galaxy S5e (tablet)
- 15W (5v) Pinebook Pro (laptop)

[40" / 1 m] This Mouse is better and less expensive than a Apple Magic Mouse! No Kidding.

It is wireless and plugs into your computer for charging the battery. Slides around smoothly on many different surfaces unlike the magic mouse. Feels better in your hand too because is slightly taller.

The price is right so try one and you love it!

[1.485 lb] I got this as a backup charger to my travel charger for my M1 Macbook Pro while it was on special for $39.

To be honest I wasn't expecting it to work, but it does, and works very well - I've been using it this entire trip and very happily. My travel charger, meanwhile, is charging other devices....

Definite recommend.

[USB-C (24 W)] This mouse was the first Satechi product that I bought and I was astonished by its quality. t paired flawlessly with my MacBook Pro. It has a metal wheel. METAL, when have you seen that before? I was a dedicated Microsoft mouse user but they kept falling apart or failing when I replaced them. Satechi all the way for me from now on.

[USB-C (24 W)] Using it with an M1 Macbook and it's a great experience so far. No connection issues, however the Mac needs to find it a a Bluetooth device - it won't spot it as a wireless mouse. And sometimes there are charging issues - the mouse won't charge despite being hooked overnight. But as it's great at working for weeks on a single charge this is a very minor inconvenience.
Happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it.

[USB-C (24 W)] Built like a tank. Bought this for my wife, so she charge all her devices (phone, laptop, and tablet). No more troubles on finding where her charger and cables are. Sleek design and the folding plug makes it easy to bring along during travel.
