[Yes] We perform computer network installs and use these cases, both with dividers and foam, to carry equipment. Not only do they work well but our customers all recognize a Pelican and know we mean business. Only drawback sometimes is the weight but hey, we're computer geeks, we could use the exercise.

[Yes] This particular case is in use as the primary case for my Soundcraft MFXi8 audio mixing desk. I considered a soft case for the mixer but decided on the better protection that a hard case provides. I use a number of Pelican cases for my video / audio equipment, and lighting gear. Whilst the initial outlay may seem high, and the case a little heavy, what you get in return is extreme ruggedness but more importantly: protection for your valuable and delicate equipment. The case has clasps on three sides with a hinge on the fourth. The lid hermetically seals so the case will float should this need ever arise. The foam inserts are configurable so that your equipment sits tightly in place and has plenty of cushioning around it. Highly recommended.

[Yes] This is a great size Pelican. Holds enough gear and is a good handling size. The deviders are much better than the pull and pluck.

[Copolymer Shell] Bought three (3) of these cases for our Nikon Vibration Reduction spotting scopes and cameras w/ lenses. They are a little bulky, but provide excellent protection. The pick and pluck foam makes it easy to fit all of the equipment. Great padding and protection.

[Yes] I now own a total of six Pelican cases. Three are the model 1600 and this is the first model I ordered with the divider set. Although I carry my gear in a Tamrac Pro 614, I transport the gear in the Pelican case because the pelican case is pad locked and secured in my trunk (to the car frame) with a steel cable and lock. As for the other Pelican cases they hold audio gear like digital recorders, microphones and so on. Your gear is in an air tight environment and these cases are tough as nails. A good investment in my book.

[Yes] I have owned several Pelican cases and they are great for security and are rock solid. The dividers are very versitle. There are a few colors to choose from, I decided to save a little and went for the black. Holds a lot of gear and can be a little heavy when packed. Excellent for either transporting or storage of your gear.

[Yes] This is a fantastic case and it has a great price point since it comes with the foam. It is a larger case so I use it for holding my camera as well laptop, extra batts and wireless mics. Very good value.

[Yes] The case is well constructed and holds all my camera gear with room to spare for future acquisitions. I have no doubt that my gear will be well protected for years to come.
