A: Yes! There is a crop factor - not because of the lens - but because of the 645z sensor. Pentax has a good chart of the lens comparisons to 35mm full frame. it was helpful to me at first - but now am used to the lenses. Remember - you will have a manual focus and manual f/stop down when using the Hassy lenses on this camera.

A: The K3ll uses the standard K mount lens, so the good news is all Pentax K lenses from the last twenty + years will fit directly. The Pro Lens Mount adapter will therefore also work for Maymiya 645 Lenses to mount on the K3lll.

Q: 4. Does it fit the Sony AT7RIV? The unit I have is not compatible because the grip of the A7RIV protrudes more than that of the A7RII (for which I bought the rhinocam 2 years ago) I wonder if this is a new version that allows the A7RIV to mount.

A: I'm sorry but the A7RIV will not work with the Rhinocam and I don't believe there any plans to come out with one.

Q: 5. If a 200mm 645 lens (original manual focus) is mounted on a Canon 5D II what magnification (or reduction) will result?

A: There is a crop factor of .78 so a 200mm 645 lens on a full frame 35mm DSLR is going to be around 256mm.

A: Hi Dave,I did some tests on the A7R; A-900; Nikon D700. As you know - all of these are FF. The Mamiya 645 with this adapter covers approx. 156% of the sensor. You will experience ZERO light fall-off, even when fully stopped down (at highest f-stop). Mamiya 645 lenses are fantastic - so enjoy - it opens up a totally new world of excellence. If I may - just one word of sound advice. Due to the resolving power of the lens, and the high pixel density of the sensor, I advise that ALL shots with 645 lenses are done using a sturdy tripod. Even at high speeds, getting a pin sharp photo is VERY challenging. During 2015, I've done approx. 12000 shots with my 645's, with in excess of 90% on tripod.
