Protect your Canon EOS C70 camera and add a variety of accessories with this Chrosziel Camera Cage for Canon EOS C70 | Compact Rigfrom Chrosziel. The cage protects your camera without blocking access to any of its features, functions, ports, or compartments. It provides numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads around the top and sides of the cage.

The C70 mounts onto the base tripod plate with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws, and you can secure the camera on the side using an additional screw to prevent twisting. The bottom of the cage features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for mounting on a tripod, shoulder rig, plate, and other camera platforms. There is also a sensor plane marker on the side of the cage for accurate distance measurements.

A: The Tilta Full Camera Cage for Canon C70 (Black) would connect to the Tripod screw of the camera. However, It does not connect allow connection to any other mounting point on the camera. It will be a very strong and protective cage.

Q: 2. Where are the 3/8 mounting holes on this cage?

A: Tilta says there are no 3/8 screw connections on the Tilta full Camera Cage for Canon C70.

Q: 3. Does this attach to the top via screw in the C70 cold shoe, and at the base of the camera, or just at the base of the camera?

A: The cage is tied down via the bottom plate and perfectly integrated with the cold shoe but is not connected to it by a screw on top.

Q: 4. Hi, can I remove the arca-plate on the bottom? Are there alternative fixtures?

A: Yes, the Arca plate can be removed. It is fastened to the bottom of the cage using two screws. You are able to attach any plate to the bottom of the cage via 1/4" 20 and/or 3/8" 16 threads.

Q: 5. Will this fit my SL3?

[1.215 lb] This is my 2nd purchase of one of these useful and lightweight cages. They fit the Canon C-70 like a custom glove and make it easy to attach Tilta's mini follow focus. I've also added a handle and a couple 3rd party cold shoe mounts to them so I'm able to mount an electronic viewfinder and a shotgun mic. The quality is very good and the price is reasonable. 5

[Canon EOS C70] I was using another name brand top plate - well made, but it blocked some controls. The Kondor system is very well planned to add function without limiting access. I typically use an external monitor and a shotgun mic, or a wireless mic...sometimes both. This system gives me better mounting points. The only negative is that the HDMI protector was too narrow to allow any of my cables to connect. I will just do without that u til the time is right to replace a cable. 5

[13 x 7.1 x 5.9"] I had anxiety using the smallrig top plate to connect a top handle, monitor and microphone. All of that weight was pulling on a single screw on top of the C70 cold shoe. I felt it was only a matter of time till it broke. I forked over the extra cash for the Shape cage and I'm glad I did. Now the cage connects via the top screw, bottom two screws and is connected via a side plate. I feel much more secure adding accessories and the hdmi clamp was a big feature for why I chose this cage. The clamp is small, so I cannot use my thick right angle hdmi, I have to use a normal cable. However, it is extremely secure now. Overall, this cage makes me feel more confident using my gear. 5

[Cage] This cage works great for the C70, it comes with the bracket to bold to the RF/EF Speed Booster. I was able to clamp a second lav to the cage. I like that its minimal with JUST enough room for add ons. I personally added a handle to the left side of the camera. I think the base plate and rail add on is probably worth it if you plan on running V Mount in the future. I'm glad I bought it and wish I had earlier. 5

[1.215 lb] I love the Tilta Full Cage for the Canon C70. It's very sleak and fits around the camera perfectly. I love the fact it's not super bulty when you have to hand hold your camera. It have numerous places through out the cage to adapt lights and mics to it. 5
