The white Selador Desire D60 Studio HD LED Luminaire with Edison Connector from ETC uses high-output, white light LEDs to create a suitable fixture for video, film, and other white light only applications where color temperature and skin-tone rendering are critical.

The luminaire offers a rugged, die-cast enclosure, quiet, fan-cooled operation, multiple lens options, and an advanced user interface that enables easy configuration and specific features for video and film professionals.

The fixture can be configured to operate under control of a studio lighting control desk or via stand-alone, no console required settings for location lighting. The D60 Studio HD uses the patented x7 Color System, mixing 5 colors with 2 different white LEDs to create brilliant HD white light with higher color-rendering qualities. It combines warm white and cool white LEDs for variable color temperature mixing. Added to this are 5 carefully chosen LED colors from the Selador x7 Color System to fill in the white LED spectral gaps.

The D60 Studio HD provides a rich variable white light possible in an LED fixture. The Luminaire comes with a hanging yoke, a 25° secondary lens, and 1.5m PowerCON to Edison power cable.

The fixture uses Luxeon Rebel ES emitters specified by the strictest binning standards. However, on-camera LED response varies with different cameras and settings.

This light comes in handy when you need to pattern a larger room, like a conference room. it has the strength and creates a nice texture and brings any room to life,especially lighting 2 camera interviews...it does get very hot making it difficult to pack up without a cool off period...but still a great light for interviews....works great with a large dimmer..... 5

Pop it in the gel frame holder at the front of the light. You'll still be able to use a gel frame in the space behind or in front, or a top hat in front of it (the donut and top hat together really clear up the image), though you can't have all three at once - there's only two slots in the mini's frame holder. 5

I just installed 2 of these in one of the kids rooms at our church. They are solid and reliable and work exactly like they should. I do wish they came with bulbs but that's not a huge deal to me. 5

Works flawlessly - the focus is sharp, the flags cut the light just as needed, it's built very solidly, and it puts out a ton of light with just a 575w bulb. Worth every penny. We are a mobile church and we used just four of these as the backbone of our lighting setup for Sundays, and needed the lighter weight. As far as output, we don't have to put them up above half to get the light we need. Concerning control, we are able to keep the light extremely controlled, specifically keeping it off the projection screen, which is right above the singers heads. Because of this, we were able to maximize our projector's output lumens and not have to overcompensate with it, or compromise on scene brightness. We couldn't be happier with the purchase. 5
