Make your recordings and podcasts with multiple voiceover artists and singers, conduct interviews, and host your radio show without fear of spreading germs onto the microphone. These disposable microphone covers help foster sanitary conditions for multiple users of the microphone. Take one out of the dispenser and fit it over the mic to protect against germs.

The tissue-style box can be placed anywhere people use the same microphone, such as in the studio, broadcast booth, or radio station. Each user can take a cover out of the box and quickly slip it over the microphone before they begin speaking or singing.

The nonwoven polyester fabric protects against germs, but won't affect the microphone's sound. You'll be protected, and listeners tuning in won't miss a word or note.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the length of the 1.5" and 2.5" disposable covers? I am looking at fitting them to aircraft headset microphones with windsocks installed.

A: Both models of Auray Disposable Covers for Small-Profile Headset, Earset & Gooseneck Microphones, 1.5" and 2.5" are about 3" long.

Q: 2. Does this contain bitterant? I'm worried how this'll impact my negatives and dislike the fact that the chemical remains after handwashing.

A: This Super Dust Gun does not contain bitterant.

Q: 3. Will this shockmount work with the Rode NT-USB?

A: Yes, this shockmount is compatible for use with the Rode NT-USB microphone.

Q: 4. How do I fit the shockmount to a microphone? I bought 2 of these for a Shure MV-7 and Blue Yeti X and the M20 thread is just huge.

A: The Auray Shockmount for Rode Podcast Mics and Mics with M20 Thread is not compatible for use with the Shure MV7 Podcast Microphone or the Blue Yeti X. The shockmount can only be used with microphones that have an M20 thread on the bottom. Neither the MV7 or Yeti X have any threading. The MV7 has its own built-in yoke mount and is not intended for use with a separate shockmount, and the Yeti X can be used with the Blue Radius III Shockmount (B&H # BLRADIUS3). For good examples of mics that have the M20 threading and do fit in the Auray Shockmount, take a look at the Rode Podcaster USB Broadcast Microphone (B&H # ROPODCASTER) and the Rode Procaster Broadcast-Quality Dynamic Microphone (B&H # ROPROCASTER).

Q: 5. If you're only using one diameter mic, would you do better with a solid, fixed holder, or will this work just as well?

A: The Auray MC-33CP Clothespin-Style Mic Clips Kit will work just as well as a fixed clip in most scenarios, and will often make it easier to affix as well as remove the microphone to and from the clip.

Q: 6. Do these clips work with the mic that comes with the Sony UWP-D11 lav kit?

A: Yes

Q: 7. Will this fit to Se Electronix x1s mic?

A: Yes, the Auray WCF-UB440 foam windscreen does fit properly on the Warm Audio WA-14 large-diaphragm microphone.

Q: 9. Will this shock mount work with the Samson G Track Pro USB mic?

A: No, this Auray shockmount is designed for use with specific Rode microphones and is not compatible for use with the Samson G-Track Pro. The Samson SP04 Spider Shockmount for G-Track and G-Track Pro Microphones (B&H# SASP04TB) is the compatible shockmount you will want to use.

Q: 10. Will this work with the Rode PodMic?

A: No, the diameter of the PodMic is much larger than the Auray SM-RM20 can accommodate. Additionally, the PodMic has an internal shock mount and is not intended to be used with an a separate shock mount since it is not needed.

[0.315 lb] In the entertainment business, I regularly have 3 to 5 Video meetings per day, so I began upgrading my a/v equipment. People mentioned a hissing sound from my laptop mic, so I ordered the Rode NT-USB Microphone. It's a great mic, but I wasn't happy with the plastic stand that came with it as I had to put it next to my laptop, which interfered with viewing my external monitor.

So I ordered the Auray TT-6220 Telescoping Tabletop Microphone Stand to move the mic above the laptop screen. The stand is well built and much heavier than expected, which is good for stability. It raises the mic high enough to place the stand behind my laptop screen so it's not in the way of it or my external monitor.

At the same time, I ordered the Auray Shockmount for Rode Podcast Mics and Mics with M20 Thread to hold the mic and eliminate vibration from the desk. Together with the stand, they work flawlessly!

I've recently ordered the Auray RF-PBO-16 Premium Reflection Filter partly for background noise reduction, but also to counter balance the mic.

[0.315 lb] This foam screen really addressed the problem for us, we are actually using it with Audio Technica mic which was really sensitive to plosives but with this screen the issue is solved. You can blow directly in to the mic and no longer get a nasty pop.

[0.315 lb] What's better than one mic? Multiple mics. this one windscreen fits all of them. I have multiple style microphones and it has not failed to fit any of them. I don't know if it will break down over time like these types of foams do. Other than that, I'm enjoying using them right now.

[0.315 lb] Manufacturer may not like me saying this, but we launder these in a zip-bag in washer & then dry in dryer. They come out of dryer like a soft ball, but they're still usable. We've likely laundered them 15-20 times before they lose their shape & stretch. I just hate throwing things away with the planet having limited resources & excessive trash already. Our guests wear headphones while getting services.
