The white Selador Desire D60 Studio Tungsten Luminaire with Edison Connector from ETC uses high-output, Tungsten-Balanced LEDs to create a fixture suitable for video, film, and other white light only applications where color temperature and skin-tone rendering are critical. It offers a rugged die-cast enclosure, quiet, fan-cooled operation, multiple lens options, and an advanced user interface that enables easy configuration and specific features for video and film professionals.

The fixture can be configured to operate under control of a studio lighting control desk or via standalone, no console required settings for location lighting. The D60 Studio Tungsten contains sixty energy-saving 3000 K LEDs for high-intensity, non-variable warm-white output. It provides an enhanced color rendering to the eye, particularly at high color temperature settings.

The Studio Tungsten features the all-white Luxeon Rebel ES LEDs and outputs large quantities of white light while using a mere 161W of power. The Studio Tungsten array produces warm, white light with a 3000 K color temperature.

These lights are truly a workhorse of a Chief Lighting Technician's tool kit... especially if you have overhead grids. Great for mood lighting, dimmable, and they cool off around 15 minutes after being shut off. 5

I use this fixture for adding patterns to backgrounds for interviews, etc. It's a workhorse and gets the job done every time. The fixture itself is a little bulky, (far less bulky than the full size) so you are not going to shove this thing in your light kit with LED panels, but it's rugged enough to carry around on its own without worrying about it getting banged up. It couldn't be easier to use, the entire fixture can be loaded with a lamp and adjusted, quickly and without the use of any tools. Set it to 50 and you can fill a large wall from a short distance. I like to tweak the zoom adjustment to soften the projection a bit. The beam is cooler than most other tungsten fixtures at this wattage because of the dichroic reflector, so it doesn't kill your patterns/gels as quickly as other/older fixtures. Grab one of these, a pattern holder (does not come with fixture) and some M-size gobos and you can make a white wall far less boring. 5

I love this light so far for photos and video but no matter how tightly I adjust the handle to keep the light angled straight-on at the subject, it slowly falls and ends up tilted straight down again within 10 minutes, totally messing up my scene if I haven't noticed while shooting. It seems too heavy for the screw to hold it in place on the stand. Please advise! 5

When I needed to upgrade my SL-60w for more light, I bought the SL-200. I wasn't disappointed. Fan noise has improved from first version, hardly notice it. Great budget light. I'll stick with Godox until I win the lotto and can afford Profoto. 5
