The black Selador Desire D60 Studio Tungsten Luminaire with Stage Pin Connector from ETC uses high-output, Tungsten-Balanced LEDs to create a fixture suitable  for video, film, and other white light only applications where color temperature and skin-tone rendering are critical. The fixture can be configured to operate under control of a studio lighting control desk or via standalone, no console required settings for location lighting. The D60 Studio Tungsten contains sixty energy-saving 3000 K LEDs for high-intensity, non-variable warm-white output. It provides an enhanced color rendering to the eye, particularly at high color temperature settings.

The Studio Tungsten features the all-white Luxeon Rebel ES LEDs and outputs large quantities of white light while using a mere 161W of power. The Studio Tungsten array produces warm, white light with a 3000 K color temperature.

A: I haven't noticed any in person or on camera. Mine does have a couple cells that sometimes don't work though. Doesn't affect anything, but was still a bit of a bummer. Also, make sure to buy some batteries and a charger. If you wanna use it for a light stand, you'll have to buy that pivot elbow too. Besides that, I love it. Puts out solid light and is compact.

A: Yes, it could be used as a back light, if you get it fairly close(no more than 6 feet away). I often use it that way. I mainly use it as a camera light to fill in the face on hand held work. It doesn't project very far, but it is a great light for what I use it for. I love the light.

A: The LED array in the ETC Source Four LED Series 2 Lustr is not user-replaceable. The unit would have to be returned to ETC if replacement of the LED array is required.

A: No, that light is not designed to be used with a softbox.

Q: 10. The video states that this light takes either a Sony or a Panasonic battery,Is there two battery trays? I shoot with a Pani DVX200, I can't find any LED lights that use that style of battery, It's defiantly a disadvantage to have to carry two types of batterys.

A: This will only run directly off of the Sony-type NP-F batteries. However, it will also run off the D-tap cable from the larger brick style batteries (the ones that use the V-mount or Gold mounts), as long as it has the appropriate voltage.
