Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hi! has that label that says only open in the dark room for airports?

A: Yes, on the label it says open only in a darkroom. As someone who has passed through airports with many rolls of film my advice is arrive early and have a changing or dark bag so that you can let the security put their hands on the film in the dark bag if it comes to that. But I doubt that.

Q: 2. Can this be used in a 35mm stills camera?

A: No, Kodak VISION3 200T Color Negative Film #5213 (35mm, 1000' Roll) can not be used for 35mm film cameras.

Q: 3. 100 rolls come in this package ?

A: This is not a package of 100 rolls. It is one 100 roll of film. You would use this to fill your own empty 35mm cassettes in a darkroom. http://bhpho.to/1mfsYYH

Q: 4. Your blurb says "a cross-processed look with saturated colors and iconic grain". Don't you mean de-satuated here?

A: For the Lomography LomoChrome Metropolis 2021 100-400 Color Negative Film, unique chemical formulas set the LomoChrome color negative films apart. The brand-new, experimental 2021 formula LomoChrome Metropolis features punchy contrasts and muted tones with intense pops of color. Some sample photos can be found here: https://bit.ly/3L7i4GJ.

Q: 5. what is expiration date?

A: B&H buys and sells film in bulk. In general we regularly maintain fresh film stock. All of our film is at least 6 months from expiration (typically much longer). Anytime film stock is less than 6 months from expiration we sell it in a separate section and label it as short-dated film and also price it with a slight discount (again due to the volumes we sell this rarely occurs). Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to hand inspect the expiration date of any of our films prior to purchase.

Q: 6. Can I develop this film with kodak t-max developer?

A: You can process Kentmere Pan 400 Black and White Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) in T-Max developer.

Q: 7. can it also take 36 exposure film?

A: Yes you can also reload it with 36 exposure film.

Q: 8. Is this the Kentmere with the new packaging?

A: Yes.

Q: 9. Can this film be possessed like a c-41 film

A: NO. it is a Black and white film, and requires B&W processing. Running it through C-41 will result in a blank strip, with possible loose emulsion. Ilford XP2 is a special film to give B&W negatives while using a C-41 process.

Q: 10. What is the expiration date?

A: The exp date is typically 1 year out.

[Color Negative] I have use this in both 35 and 120, and it's pretty cool. Muted tones with a bit of magenta, for a nostalgic look. Takes a bit of getting used to, but for something different I would recommend it. Street, urban landscape etc. Not for the color-perfect rendering that you would get with Portra for example—but that's exactly the point.

[400] this came out exactly the way I wanted to photos to come out. It gives it a cool tone retro look. I think the lighting really helped it as I went to a cemetery during the golden hour. Also the residents were really easy to work with and i got perfect shadowing. i will definetly by this film again.

[1] From another world, but a pleasing one. The colors are just off-kilter enough to be pleasing; if Kodachrome was reconstructed with whimsy, it would be this film.
