Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this camera work without a battery or power supply?

A: Yes. The following camera does not need power in order to create great images.

Q: 2. I bought the Lomographic sprocket rocket (hp400) and would like to know if anyone knows how long the developed photo is. I've had a panoramic camera in the past and the developed photo was 12 long. 2. I also have a Nikon N90s which uses 4AA batteries, along with 4 AA's in the flash. Any strong recommendations on type of battery? I'm finding Duracell are weaker and energizer last longer. So, any suggestions?

A: In regard to the Sprocket Rocket: The size of the print just depends on what you request. The image on the negative is about twice the length of a standard 35mm frame. I've printed images from the Sprocket Rocket on 8x10 paper. You can really print them at almost any size.

Q: 3. What country is this film made in?

A: According to the information we have, our current inventory's Country of Origin is China. Please be aware this can change over the product's production life without notice.

Q: 4. Can you name any developers who can develop the film?

A: B&H has a developing service for 35mm and 120 film.

Q: 5. what type of projecter should i use to show the movies?

A: You will need a 35mm film projector. Those are very hard to find and very rare. When you do find them they are very expensive unfortunately. Usually you need to scan the film to a computer in order to see the movie.

Q: 6. Lens compatibility?Any idea if Lomography designed this to specifically work with their lenses, or if it's possible to use a f-mount or k-mount lens perhaps?

A: This is designed to work with Konstruktor lenses.

Q: 7. Is this film DX coded?

A: Yes

Q: 8. does it produce sound?

A: The camera is crank 35mm moving film camera. It does not record sound. If you are referring to the sound the camera might make while recording, it is very minimal.

Q: 9. Is the lens ajustable or is it just like that for esthetic purposes?

A: The focus is the only adjustable option on the lens included with this Konstruktor F Kit.

Q: 10. How many steps does this take to make it? I am wondering if I can turn it into an “advent calendar” for my son to build?

A: Please take a look at this link as it lists the instructions and all of the steps required to build the Lomography Konstruktor F Do-It-Yourself 35mm Film SLR Camera Kit. https://microsites.lomography.com/konstruktor/how-to-build/

[10.1 x 9 x 2"] I take this camera everehere with me, I started out with the fisheye 1 but recently upgraded to the fisheye 2 and it was well worth it. I love the fisheye viewfinder and the multi exposure setting! The flash is awesome and you evenhave the option of attaching an external flash with the shoe on top of it, I would highly recOmens this camera to everyone.

[10.1 x 9 x 2"] I gave the lomo fisheye 2 as a gift and we both have been having so much fun. At first I was a little scared because it feels like a disposable camera and it sounds a little funny when you load it, I wasnt sure we loaded it correctly. Its worth the price for what it is. I would recommend this one over the fisheye 1 because of all the extra features like multiple exposures and shutter speed.

[f/11 to f/32] Y'all, this camera is so much fun! I've had a blast figuring it out and enjoying the ROCKIN' pictures I get from it. If you haven't used film (in a while or ever), it takes some getting used to, and learning how much light you need is a bit of a trial-and-error process, but once you get going, I don't know how you could possibly not love it.

[Yes] Easy carry, though strap a little fragile. Best used in day time-get real close! When using built in flash, I flip camera upside-down to cast shadow from lense a different direction-I rather use an attached flash, like my old SLR flash.

[120 Roll Film] My son has recently had some return interest in working with film again which has also propelled mine. I learned of Lomography through him and when I saw this sort of low-fi Super 8 like manual film camera I thought he would love it and do something creative with it! I have in turn purchased another Lomo camera for myself. The Lomokino was received timely and well packed!
