[1000 W] I've been using these lamps in my set of 2 Smith Victor floods for lighting corporate training video shoots, for about 4 years now. They put out good light, although the light is quite hot (as to be expected). I typically film with these lights for 6 hours at a time, 5 days in a row, and I find their output to be consistent throughout my shoots. I'm able to blow out a white background for a seamless look, and evenly light a green screen using just two lamps. At least for me, when the lamps decide to go, they tend to blow right when I turn on the light, rather than during a shoot, so that is convenient from a production standpoint since it doesn't ruin any of my takes. I keep 2 spares on-hand at all times because when 1 goes, the other isn't far behind. (Recently blew two lamps in 2 days, talk about timing!) I eventually hope to transition to cooler lights, but for now, these hot lights are affordable and reliable for my budget shoots. 5
