The Brunton Grain Size Card for Geology Analysisis an essential field geology reference tool for the visual classification of sediments by both size and shape. Made of transparent plastic, the card has 10 grain size classifications with references from very coarse to very fine and their associated metric and phi equivalents; five grain shape references from angular to well-rounded; a millimeter ruler, and both negative and positive images of grains for easier field identification.

A: I'm not sure, Canon just came out with a upgrade to their Selphy printers. I've used this ink and paper with the Canon cp900 and I know it works with the previous and next editions of the Selphy, but you should do more research before buying this for your cp1200. BTW--it works really well with the cp900, beautiful prints

Q: 9. Are the markings metric?

A: The North American TruArc 10 unit is in inches. My apologies for the confusion.

Q: 10. How is this product different from KC-18IF?

A: KC-18IF only Works for Canon CP-100, CP-200, CP-220, CP-300, CP-330 & Selphy CP400, CP510, CP600 & CP710 Photo Printers. And KC-18IS only works for SELPHY CP900, CP910, or CP1200 printers.

[0.2 oz / 6 g] I wanted to try out the new rare earth magnetic needle, which is supposed to be more stable, and less effected by near by metals. I haven't had this compass long enough to prove or disprove this claim. The compass housing is classic Brunton design. When closed the lid fully covers the compass base. The lanyard attaches at the lid hinge, which causes a problem laying the compass flat on the map unless the lanyard is tucked into the open space between the hinge and compass base. Sighting a land mark with the mirror is similar to other mirror compass designs. Sighting with the lid laid flat would be enhanced if there was a white sighting line on the inside of the lid below the notch. The needle settles reasonably quickly. When closed the rounded corners give it a nice comfortable feel in the hand. If it doesn't develop a bubble, as some previous Brunton compasses I've owned have done I will be happy with this compass. It also comes wtth 2 Topo Buddy Universal Scale Cards. Sandwiched between heavier stock cards to protect the scale cards. That are riveted at one corner so they can pivot out for use, which is open to permit attachment of a lanyard. The 2 scale cards cover most commonly used scales and also include UTM grid scales. The cards are to large to fit inside the lid, they measure 6.2 cm x 9.1 cm. approximately the size of the compass base. 5

[0.015 lb] I bought this compass for my husband's birthday. He loved it except for one thing... mRad scale. I didn't look close enough at the description. He asked me to exchange it for a compass with the 0-360 measurements. 5
