A: To clear up any confusion, I spoke to Garmin. They said they have dropped the LM designation from their products and that the DriveSmart 65 DOES include lifetime (of the product) Maps and Traffic. They also confirmed that Traffic updates can use either the supplied cable or the cell link. Using the cable will update slower, every 5 mins.

Although not a light or compact as a plastic compass, it should last beyond a lifetime. It comes with a lanyard and a nice leather case...Recommended. 5
