[2.2 lb / 1 kg] I use this for my RED V-Raptor. Probably would work well on the Komodo as well or any other box style camera. This is very well built and the price is fantastic compared to competitors. I use this for handheld use. I can't even see needing a cage (which they don't have for my camera yet) with this setup. I use this one, I also bought the one with the riser, for my gimbal setups. 5

[Aluminum Alloy] I use this baseplate on my Sony FX6 and it works great! When I saw this product with the name Niceyrig I thought it might be a cheaply made alternative to other more expensive brands. I took a chance with this baseplate and was pleasantly surprised. It is very well built, seems to be a mostly metal construction, and does what it's supposed to. I love having rosettes and a rod clamp built-in a baseplate. This makes for a much more modular camera setup without compromising quality or durability. 5

[Aluminum Alloy] It's a tight fit on my 9inch 15mm rods, between the camera cage and the battery plate, but this just barely pulls it off, whereas the traditional rod block wouldn't fit. I mount a kondor blue t5 ssd holder onto the cold shoe, to fit between the rear battery plate and the camera + cage in front. Connect via angelbird 50cm/19.6 usbc cable. If you're using 12 rods, there's other options, but this helps keep my rig small for shooting in tight spaces. Glorious. 5

[0.13 lb] With all of the camera cages and focus follow gear available this was the only clamp I could find of this style at a reasonable price. The first one was a perfect solution so I am ordering more. 5
