Warm's Premier cables go above and beyond, adding features like gold-plated connectors, a braided outer wrap, four-conductor star-quad construction (for powerful RFI rejection), and Double-Ruessen shielding (for increased EMI rejection).

The premier braided wrap removes the friction that occurs when rubber or PVC rub together, so it's much easier to handle and wrap the cable. No more fighting with a rat's nest of cable spaghetti. The braided wrap also adds an element of strength and reliability, as it helps to protect the cable's PVC jacket from damage due to pinching or binding.

A traditional balanced cable uses three cores of wire to carry audio signals—one shielded core for the positive leg, one shielded core for the negative leg, and a plain outer wrap that functions as the ground. The idea is this: a fully balanced system flips the phase of the signal, merges the positive and negative signals together, and effectively cancels out interference encountered along the cable's length by throwing it out-of-phase with the audio.

Star-quad construction takes that concept even further, by using five cores instead of three. Two cores are provided each for the positive and negative legs, as well as a single ground. This helps to further shield the audio from RFI (radio frequency interference), ensuring even better performance.

Most cable construction techniques use an outer wrap of wire to act as the ground. Some manufacturers braid this wire, while others simply wrap the wires in a highly uniform way to shield the interior wires from electromagnetic interference.

Double-Ruessen shielding goes further than more traditional techniques in two ways. First, the cable is wrapped with two separate shields. Secondly, the outer shield is wrapped in a contrary direction to the inner shield, creating a stronger and more complete barrier from EMI for the internal cores.

Precious metals aren't famous for their looks alone, some also have characteristics that are advantageous for signal transfer. These gold connectors provide such characteristics as well as one other one: Gold offers more resistance to corrosion than other precious metals do, making it well-suited for cable connectors.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I use this cable to connect a Rode Wireless Go II mic to an android phone? Can it be used with the dual channels or just one

A: Yes, the Deity Microphones C21 3.5mm TRS to USB-C Coiled Audio Cable can be used to connect the Rode Wireless Go II, however, it can only connect 1 channel, so in order to use both mics, you will need to run the Wireless Go in Mono Mode.

Q: 2. Second question: Will this also work with the Synco D2 when plugged into the new Beachtek-Max Active Audio Adapter DSLR?

A: No, the Deity Microphones V-Link 3.5mm TRS Male to XLR 3-Pin Male Microphone Adapter Cable will not work with the Synco Mic-D2 Hypercardioid Shotgun Microphone because it has a male XLR connector and the mic requires a female XLR connector. The V-Link Adapter Cable is intended for use with a microphone that has a 3.5mm output and requires plug-in power, but needs to connect to an XLR input. This cable does not allow phantom power to pass through to the microphone. It has a built-in phantom power converter that converts phantom power to 3 to 5V of plug-in power. The Mic-D2 needs to connect to an XLR mic input that can supply 48V of phantom power for the mic to operate.

Q: 3. If he XLR cables are connected from the cordless receiver to the our main ampler, does the 1/4 audio cable have to be hooked up also for proper operation?

A: No. You can use one or the other, Not both.

Q: 4. Will this work going from the Deity V-Mic D4 to Rode Wireless Go ii?

A: Yes, the Deity Microphones C21 3.5mm TRS to USB-C Coiled Audio Cable will connect the Deity V-Mic D4 to a Rode Wireless GO II transmitter.

Q: 5. It is working with A7siii?

A: No, the Deity Microphones C21 3.5mm TRS to USB-C Coiled Audio Cable is not compatible for use with a camera like the Sony a7S III Mirrorless Camera. The C21 cable is intended for use in converting the audio signal from a microphone with a 3.5mm output jack into a USB-C port on a computer or smartphone. It is not intended for use the other way around, with a camera's 3.5mm mic input.

Q: 6. Will this work the Synco D2 shotgun microphone (needs phantom) plugged into a passive Beachtek audio adapter?

Q: 7. Does the docking ports on top of the receiver for the mics charge the handsets?

A: Yes they do. As far as I know, that's the only way they get charged.

Q: 8. Can I use this to connect the Deity HD-TX to my camera?

A: In theory, yes, the Deity Microphones V-Link 3.5mm TRS Male to XLR 3-Pin Male Microphone Adapter Cable could be used to connect an output signal from a camera's 3.5mm headphone jack to the XLR input on the Deity Microphones HD-TX Plug-On Transmitter with Built-In Recorder.

Q: 9. Which connector carries audio to the headphones and which is the microphone? Trying to see if there would be an aviation plug

A: In the Shure 3-Pin XLR Male and 1/4" TRS Male to BCASCA Cable; The XLR end is for the microphone and the 1/4'' TRS end is for the headphones.

Q: 10. Does this provide phantom power like the Deity Microphones D-XLR 3.5mm to XLR Adapter with Phantom to Plug-In Power Conversion BH #DEDXLR? I want to use my Deity Microphones V-Mic D3 Pro into a Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface to stream on Twitch with. Would this work?

A: Yes, the Deity Microphones V-Link 3.5mm TRS Male to XLR 3-Pin Male Microphone Adapter Cable can be used for the same types of applications as the Deity Microphones D-XLR 3.5mm to XLR Adapter with Phantom to Plug-In Power Conversion. Like the D-XLR Adapter, the V-Link Cable has a built-in power converter that will allow you to use phantom power (48V) from the XLR input on the Focusrite Scarlett Solo USB Audio Interface and then converts it to plug-in power (3 to 5V), which the Deity Microphones V-Mic D3 Pro Shotgun Microphone requires to function.

[Gold] The gold connectors and braided cable are very nice touches. I've had no issues with interference since i got these, whereas before I did with the cheap cables. Very happy, and will buy again.

[0.46 lb] At this point, I'm not getting any noise and the cables are performing as they should. I may be adding some cable management to my desk soon, and I might have power lines running parallel, though I will try to avoid that. I don't recall whether these are shielded or not, so we'll see whether cross-talk happens or not. No complaints!
