The orange Rite in the Rain Mechanical Pencil Orangemay be the last pencil you'll ever need. This pencil is tough, reliable, and made in the USA. The 1.3mm lead won't snap at the tip or break in the shaft so you can use it to write in a notebook just as easily as using it to mark lumber.

The knurled-metal grip and one-hand-click lead advancement offer glove-friendly handling. The patented tip expands so the lead won't break, wobble, twist, or fall out in the field. Simply drop a single piece of lead into the shaft under the eraser cap. Refills for the thick leads and clean erasers are available separately.

[0.07 lb] Absolutely love this new pencil! Had an original Rite in the Rain pencil that broke - this is 100X better. Thick leads that don't break and the pencil itself is solid with some weight to it. So happy that I bought 2 more for my truck and wife's car. 5

[Orange] Just the right size to fit in your pocket and the pages are very robust when wet. I find this actually encourages me to make more notes quickly re settings, conditions during photography to name a few. Excellent product. 5
