This six-pack of weatherproof Rite in the Rain On-the-Go Notebooks 6-Pack Tanfrom Rite in the Rain On-the-Go Notebooks 6-Pack Tanincludes six slim and very small notebooks with a tan cover and tan paper sheets. The notebooks are smaller than a standard business card and can be kept in most wallet pockets. They each measure about 3.4 x 2" overall, and the sheet size is slightly smaller at about 3.2 x 2". They feature Rite in the Rain's flexible Field-Flex cover material and 12 sheets of perforated paper, providing 24 pages to write on.

The cover and paper are both weatherproof, and they're bound with rust-resistant staples. The corners are rounded so that they don't bend as easily in your pocket or when inserted into a wallet. The paper sheets are completely blank, with no lines or page numbers on them. With the sheets being perforated, you can neatly rip them out of the notebook to do with as you wish.

These notebooks shed water, allowing you to write in any weather. You can use a standard pencil or an all-weather pen (such as from Rite in the Rain), and your notes will endure. What you've written won't wash off. (Permanent markers and standard ballpoint pens will work only when the paper is dry. Gel pens, highlighters, or fountain pens cannot be used. Water-based inks will bead or wash off.)

A: It would depend on which 300mm lens you are referencing but it will fit the 300mm f/2.8 as well as 300mm f/4.

Q: 6. Does the paper accept the lead from a mechanical pencil? If you rub the page do the pencil marks smudge? Do you have to use a number 2 pencil? I want to be sure I can read the text (not too light) and when writing, not smudge the page from my wrist resting on the paper. Thank you!!!

[Stapled] I've owned several of these over the years to take on backpacking trips, campouts, long distant bike rides, and other outdoor activity. They always hold up in the elements. I keep this in my camera bag along with a pencil to record information on various photo shoots. Make sure you have the Rite in the Rain pen if you want to use a pen to write on this 'paper.' If you want to use a mech. pencil, any will do. 5

[Stapled] This is meant to be used with the all-weather pen. It does not work well with other types of pens. The pad itself is exactly what you'd expect it to be. It repels water beautifully. 5
