[2.3 lb] The drive works great but I needed to speak with two people at Buffalo to get it to rebuild.� Regardless, Buffalo will provide phone support even if the product is out of warranty.� You can't beat that.

[2 TB] I received this DriveStation and thought now the chore of getting it up and running. Wrong! I plugged it in, downloaded the software, it started automatically, I put in the password and downloaded three two hour videos in about 45 minutes. I was very impressed with the easy way of use and the speed.

[2 TB] This item which I received quickly has performed just as I expected it would. I have zero issues.

[9 x 6.1 x 3.7"] I bought 3 of these for downloading P2 cards to while on the road. They've been great! I'm editing on one right now with Media Composer 6. My project is on the Buffalo Tech drive and I even consolidated my media to the same drive which I realize is not a best practice. Don't try to edit with this going down the highway. The bumping will cause the drive to dismount. I tried that out of desperation to turn something a little quicker. The drive was fine, but I didn't push it once I realized what was happening. Persisting would surely have caused the drive to fail. Sorry to hear about the other guy's luck. It's a good thing his data wasn't worth more than the drive. Given what I do I could care less about the drive or it's monetary value. The data on it is what's valuable and I'm really happy with this drive after using it hard for a year and a half. Take care of your gear and your gear will take care of you.

[2 TB] Bought as a shared backup solution after Drobos died and that company is going belly-up, with no support or products. TeraStation was easy to connect up and set up shares to multiple PCs. Robust with plenty of capacity.

[9 x 6.1 x 3.7"] How excited can you get about a hard drive -- unless your NAS Raid array loses a drive. After calling Buffalo (manufacturer of the NAS unit), they gave me the specs for the replacement. I was very happy to see B&H among the online retailers that handle these, and extremely happy, but not surprised, that B&H had a great price. Some vendors matched B&H but none beat B&H. The NAS unit is back up and running great.

[2.3 lb] Shipping was fast, price was great, easy plug and play. Just what I was looking for.

[2 TB] These TeraStation raid arrays work well. Buffalo support is excellent. Email notifications are easy to setup.

[2 TB] I am running this drive on a USB2 port under Win/XP.� The software installed easily and quickly.� The drive is working fine, no problems!� Note that I've only had it two weeks.� So far so good!� I'm very happy with it.

I picked this drive because I needed the following:
� .ability to run under Win/XP
� .backwards compatible with USB2
� .a power adapter so I could turn it off without unplugging the USB cable

Based on owning it only two weeks, I would recommend this drive, or its larger siblings.

[ 3.5" HDD ] Bought two of these 2 TB external drives, one for backup of images and the other to mirror the backup. Easy to set up and fast.
