A: It could be wall mounted, but only with right-angle brackets that fit the hole patterns on the switch. No brackets are supplied with the switch. The patterns on the case appear to be like those you would find for rack mounting equipment with right-angle brackets on the left and right of the front face. Don't know thread of the holes. The square they form is 20mm center-to-center on a side. Square is 18mm from front, 12mm from bottom and 13mm from top. There are no openings on the top or bottom of the case.

A: This Ubiquiti switch came out a few years back but is still very capable and popular. It's most typically used in office and industrial settings, thus the relative lack of consumer reviews on our site.

[17.29 W (Max)] In a small school, much equipment including network infrastructure had been donated as had the IT expertise to configure it. When that equipment failed, a quick resolution was needed to bring 24 Ethernet ports back online. The CBS110-24PP an ideal solution, and since delivery was so quick, minimal downtime was experienced. Because IT expertise is hard to come by in this environment, an unmanaged switch is ideal. The CBS110-24PP has 12 ports POE which simplified the Wi-Fi Access Points since the old equipment had none, and power supplies had to be used for each WAP. Cisco has never failed me so the brand name is worth a great deal since reliability is essential in this environment as well. 5

[17.29 W (Max)] Cisco is a good name in networking solutions and this product is solidly built in a metal casing that is attractive looking as well. For a plug and play network switch this is a great choice. I use it to give me 7 ports for wired devices in my living room off of 1 cat 6 cable that runs back to my wireless router in a back bedroom and it works nicely. Highly recommend if you need a simple to use network switch. 5

[100 W] I'm using this as the main switch in a home network, replacing a switch (different manufacturer) that died. As you'd expect with a non-managed switch, installation was simple, and everything is working fine after the first week. Although I haven't needed to use it, I appreciate the fact that this unit comes with a physical power on-off switch. The unit it replaces had no power switch, and to restart, I had to disconnect the power cord, then reconnect it. The fanless design of this unit makes it quieter than the one it replaces. I haven't noticed any problems with the fanless design; the case gets slightly warm to the touch, not hot. 5
