[PowerCon] Its a power cable for an AC adapter. It carries electrons from point A to point B. It does so within its published specifications. One end fits the AC adapter using an IEC-320-C7 type plug and the other end plugs into a standard North American NEMA-1 type AC socket. Yes, it is inexplicably strange that the 100W AC adapter for which this cable was made, does not come _with_ this cable. But this is not just any cable. Like an Apple product it is pretty and white and therefore does its job much better, so its worth whatever you must pay, at any price. It feels smooth and it isnt a zip cord with that hideously unattractive split down the middle. Very sexy. This cable even includes a gorgeous white Velcro (well actually it could be generic hook & loop - I didnt check) cable tie to keep it neatly in its place in your kit. Six bucks well-spent. 5

[PowerCon] I bought a similar AC power supply from Amazon for my Canon 90D for cheaper, and it didn't even turn on or work. Went to B&H and spent the extra few dollars to get this one, and it worked perfectly with no issues. Go for this one rather than wasting your time with Amazon!
