Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. This product looks great and I'm considering buying it and one of the new edelkrone sliders. Would love to hear what people who have bought the product think of it though? There is not much information of this online so all I have to go on are videos from the edelkrone website.

A: edelkrone is the Apple of DSLR video accessories with innovative stunning design that is infused with high (and expensive) quality. If you look online, there are no lack of reviews of the gear. Take a peek and see if edelkrone fits your needs.

Q: 2. does the focus module fit with with Pan + Tilt (Dual HeadONE)?

A: The HeadONE is not listed under compatible products. This focus module is compatible with the HeadPLUS and the HeadPLUS PRO.

Q: 3. what is the gear belt size/ dimension? can't find replacement belt

A: unfortunately the manufacturer does NOT provide this information

Q: 4. The holes for bolts standardized or do have to get specific brand that are compatible?

A: The Kupo Universal Camera Ball Leveling Head uses 3/8" though-holes for mounting.

Q: 5. Will this stand hold a Genaray Torpedo LED Daylight Focusing Flood Light?

A: Yes, the Kupo Universal Stand (Black, 12.5') is compatible and strong enough for the Genaray Torpedo LED Daylight Focusing Flood Light.

Q: 6. I bought the 12 foot stand- though the specs say it closes down to 42 inches – it is 45! Could I be doing something wrong?

A: There should only be one way to close the Kupo Universal Stand (Black, 12.5'). The manufacturer does state that the closed length of the stand is 42.1 inches, or 107 cm. I would make sure that all risers on the stand are at their shortest setting, and also make sure the knobs on the stand are not interfering with each other and restricting the stand from closing properly. You may also check to ensure no additional studs or accessories are connected to the top of the light stand.

Q: 7. Will a manfrotto 501 fluid head fit on here?

A: The Manfrotto 501HDV head has a 3/8 -16 thread. This system uses 75mm, 100mm and 150mm Ball Base Heads. You could however use a 501HDV on it, you'd just need 75mm ball adapter like B&H # MA520BSH.https://bhpho.to/2xdormd

Q: 8. Does this product only come with only one track end? or does it come with a pair?

A: The Dana Dolly Universal Track End Bracket (B&H# DADDUTE1) is a single track end bracket and not a pair.

Q: 9. Can you mount this to a light stand or mic stand? If so, how?

A: The Super Knuckle Universal Tablet Holder can be mounted to any light stand that has a 5/8 stud. this will not mount to music stands

Q: 10. Does this only work with 2" pipe, or is it adjustable to 1 1/4" or 1 1/2"?

A: It is specifically designed for 2" clamping.

[10.775 lb] Worked as we hoped. perfect for 5/8 projector mounting with ability to point straight down to table or floor from lighting stand. In the past we hacked our own mounts with plates and balljoints. Much more elegant solution.

[2" / 5.08 cm] I needed something to stabilize my cheap dolly rails and this looked like it would do the trick. The clamps are width adjustable, which I needed. The minimum rail outside dimension for the clamps is 1.5, but it appears that they could accommodate larger diameter pipe. The unit the clamps and baby pin receiver attach to is a very thick, solid (and heavy) piece of steel. It is designed so that you can mount it to a stand with baby pin or junior pin, or you can flip it over and place the unit on the ground or apple boxes. Overall build quality is fine for what it needs to do.

The only issue for me is that it doesn't come with a 7/32 Allen wrench, which you will need to tighten the clamps once they are in position.

[10.775 lb] I don't have a ton of experience with light stands (I own three including this one) but I can tell you this one is very well built and should last many years of use. It is not as light other stands I have but that is what I like about it. It is sturdy, well built and because of it's weight, less prone to tip over without a sandbag or other stabilizing weight.

[18.9 x 7.4 x 6"] I bought this at a great price and Kupo makes a great stand. I didn't realize how tall it really was until I put a light way up on it. If you are going to put any light of value up there make sure you pick up a sandbag too. The construction seems durable and is lightweight but stable. The stand has a velcro strap to hold the legs together when it's folded up. The risers are plastic but release with a quarter turn and seem to have good tension to keep the risers in place. I use speedlights and don't really need the air-cushioned option. If you are planning on using heavier lights you may want that extra security if you aren't used to using a light stand. Overall I am happy with my purchase and it will last me a long time.

[10.775 lb] I absolutely love my Dana Dolly! I use it with light weight cameras on cheap conduit from Home Depot. The Matthews Low Boy Combo stands work great with this and offers lots of versatility. If you plan to use a heavy camera, you will need a center support stand, but since my cameras are small, it works fine for me to just use two stands, one at each end.I did not purchase a case when I purchased this, and have just been using the box that it came in. I would recommend that you get a case for this when you purchase it. In the end, this is a great product, and if you are considering it, you should get it. I've only had it for a month and used it about 40 times, so in rental fees, I have totally gotten my money out of it.

[10.775 lb] I initially ordered from B&H but the item was backordered so I bought from Proaim. I am using it with rigged Bmpcc 4k and GH6. Wheels are smooth and does not make any noise! Ideally, rails between 32-34mm outer diameter works best but I am using 1-1/8” diameter rail (about 28mm). I shimmed it with some felt and now it works fine. It also comes with a bag! Everything weighs just a little over twelve pounds (without rails). I can use it on the ground for low level shots. I am using it with two Kupo slider stands with junior to baby adapters! I love this dolly!

[10.775 lb] I definitely love this Kupo Universal Air Cushion Stand - I bought it for wedding photography it's exactly what I need! Easy foldable, lightweight, nice and wide footprint. I love it! I'm wondering if there could be any quality difference between this one and the none-air cushioned

[10.775 lb] This 12.5’ universal light stand is quite well-built, given its price point. I’m not thrilled with Kupo using what looks to be *one* rivet to hold the 5/8” stud to its tube, but I don’t think such is enough to subtract any ratings points. It is solidly built, and should last for years. Good job, Kupo!
