Attach accessories to Mitchell mounting plates with this Mitchell Threaded Collar Castle Nut Round Plate Set Kupofrom Kupo. This set features a CNC-machined aluminum mounting collar, round Mitchell plate, and yellow zinc-plated steel castle nut that enables mounting cheese plates, accessories, risers, and other grip gear on a Mitchell mounting receiver, which is common to the cinema industry. This complete set allows you to mount the round plate onto the collar, which then allows you to sandwich a neutral riser (not included) between the round plate and the castle nut with the collar fitting into the riser's mounting hole.

The castle nut features standard threading, a smooth-round circumference, and raised studs that allow you to grip and tighten or loosen the nut as needed and give the castle nut its name. The collar is machined with threads that match a standard Mitchell castle nut (not included), making it compatible with a variety of tripod supports and risers. A pair of M7 and M10 countersunk through holes enable you to mount the collar onto supports without using the round plate. Likewise, a pair of threaded 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes with 1" on-center spacing is suitable for attaching standard cheese plates to the collar. Additionally, the interior of the collar is threaded, allowing it to accept optional accessories from Kupo, such as the Mitchell thread collar to Baby pin stud adapter.

A: Unfortunately, we do not have a super grip finger option that has a built-in 3/8"-16 male screw. As an alternative, I would recommend purchasing the Impact Heavy-Duty Swivel Pin, B&H # IMSRP118, and the Kupo Baby Ball Head Adapter, B&H # KUKG014212, as an alternative for your usage needs.

A: Anytime you are attaching a metal plate to a camera body you can run the risk of scratching especially when set screws are involved such as in the Kupo Super Grip Finger with Round Camera Plate.

A: This item can be used with the Ronin 2 when paired with the Universal Mount for DJI Ronin 2 (R2). The Mitchell Threaded Collar & Castle Nut does come with the nut.

[2.47 lb] A great piece for an AC monitor/cage kit with a QR, for a follow focus fiz unit (it allows full movement for ergonomics most AC's miss out on!) and of course for any other rigging where micro adjustment AND solid strength of rigging is required. 5

[2.47 lb] Based on some other reviews, I was hesitant to purchase these casters. Happily, my fears were unfounded. Following the directions, it took me less than 12 minutes to install these on my Kupo Midi-Max Baby Kit Stand, and a couple of those minutes were consumed in tracking down a 3mm Allen wrench. That was the only tool needed. I will be ordering another set to go on my other Kupo stand. 5

[2.47 lb] This plate is a great adapter for a PTZ camera to a light stand and even better when paired with the KUPO Low and Mighty stand. It will allow you to mount to a baby pin or in a junior receiver. The only thing I wish it had is a bubble level. 5

[2.47 lb] We bought a set of these for one of our combos and it's changed the way we work. Having our key on wheels, while not always feasible, is absolutely amazing most of the time. Between studio setups, corporate spaces, warehouses, etc, we're largely on hard flat floors, so these make moving a heavy key a breeze.
