[8 x 3.5 x 0.5"] I took normal neck strap off my Nikon D4 because when I had it on I couldn't see the details on the back of the camera! I'm 46 and my eyes don't work at close distance anymore! Strap was not long enough. If you are over 40 maybe you know what I mean. Anyway, I didn't feel comfortable with not having a strap, tried a few things but decided a wrist strap might do. I like this Leica one because it is sturdy but not really big and fat. It looks nice/stylish and I feel a bit safer about potentially dropping camera. I do portraits and mountain bike photography. I like that I can stuff the d4 in a backpack and it's easy to get out quickly without the long strap getting caught on things. This little strap actually helps pull it out. It's not perfect all the time but it has stayed on my camera for a month...it must suit me better than the other things I had.

[0.05 lb] Admittedly, many Leica products are over-priced. However, in may aspects, the feel and build of those over-priced products are exemplary. These wrist-straps are no different from that mindset. I have no problem paying a little extra as long as I know that I will not need to purchase a replacement for many years (indeed, if ever). These wrist-straps seem to fall in the latter category as their build and feel are substantial enough to last many years. For that, I'm willing to pay the premium and get on with taking the best shots I can knowing that if I have butterfingers, these straps will counter-balance my clumsiness! Recommended!

[8 x 3.5 x 0.5"] This is a nice looking strap. The leather finish and stitching compliments the half case protector. I removed (cut off) the protective flap around the split ring for the strap to fit with the camera case. It looks great!
