Ideal for supporting lights like ARRI SkyPanels and other heavy-duty LED panel lights in the upright position, the steel 15.4" Panel Offset Arm from Kupo has three 1-1/8" junior receivers, a junior pin, and two sleds to mount the SkyPanel power supply units.

LED panel lights are ubiquitous in the world of professional film and video lighting, though the versatility and power of high-end LED panels often coincide with rigging limitations. Kupo offers this Panel Offset Arm to accommodate for the robust form factor of LED panels that mount via 1-1/8" junior pins. The black powder-coated 15" bar is constructed of solid steel and is accepted by a standard junior stand.

It features three junior receivers for four distinct mounting positions: lights can be mounted directly above the stand, either upright and underslung at the end of the arm, or horizontally using the perpendicular port. The horizontal mounting option is particularly useful when used in conjunction with a smaller panel and a 1-1/8" to 5/8" pin adapter, allowing the yoke to adjust pan or tilt. When used to rig ARRI SkyPanels whose power supply units are equipped with PSU Rail Mount adapters, two brackets are available for quickly and securely hanging the PSUs. An included safety wire is used to lock junior pins and prevent accidental slips for loads up to 66 lb.

A: You would need a Junior to baby adapter to mount to a 5/8 stud Impact Baby to Junior Receiver Adapter BH #IMME130 • MFR #ME-130. What you mount in the other socket would need to have a male junior pin.

A: On the Neewer UA016 Baby 5/8" Offset Arm, the load capacity of 22 lbs. is intended to reflect the fully extended position of this Offset Arm. This is the most stressful point in the Offset Arms construction so care should be taken not to exceed this load capacity.

[Steel] I own and use a MOLA Setti. But while it's fine using it on a junior stand (it has a 1 1/8 mount...it's heavy), I wanted to be able to align it right over the camera, as it should be used from time to time. This is the solution to getting there without spending $$Hundreds on a proper boom arm. So, with the help from Matthews with their 5/8 to 1 1/8 adapter, I'm able to use the Setti directly over the camera w/o shelling out the extra bucks. I've been impressed with Kupo products. They seem to have a pulse on things that photographers need that no one else makes. Matthews makes a comparable product, but I didn't need the extendable feature that they offer for a considerable upgrade in price. 5

[1] Stupid simple, and basically just a nice solid bit of chromed steel.. but it makes a C-stand so much more versatile. My favorite trick is that I use the upside down pin to hang a light head, which allows me to get a light almost 2-feet lower than with it mounted on top of a c-stand. This helps a ton with the product work I do. Also functions as a mini-boom, so you can get a light out over a table surface, for example. 5

[1] As others have done with their Mola Setti's, I chose this offset arm to rig the reflector away from the stand. Matthews makes a similar product, but I wasn't sure I'd need the expansion feature...so I went with the Kupo. 5

[Steel] I use it to get directly under a Speedlight with Modifier attached to a standard Light Stand. Very convenient, but not suitable for heavy objects using a standard light stand. Use a C-Stand, wall bracket, etc. for your bigger challenges. 5

[5.7 lb] Really strong-well made grip piece that is better than advertised. Gets that light just far enough away from the stand so you don’t have to deal with the stand. Great piece and awesome price! 5

[1] I have read a review giving this product 2 stars for lack of versatility and for the lower pin blocking the pivoting of the modifier, I attached photos showing that it is simply not true, I could put my beauty dish in a complete horizontal position facing down ( using the lower pin ) and I attached photos for the BD in every possible position. This fixture is simply a MUST HAVE.....Great product from kupo as usual. 5

[5.7 lb] No need for hard-to-carry C-Stands and a Boom Extension when this small arm attaches to a standard light stand to allow me to put the camera directly below a speed light and Softbox for Butterfly lighting on location. 5
