The Kupo Front Box Mounting Plate for Convi Clampis a black anodized aluminum mounting plate with six countersunk through-holes that is ideal for mounting on an optional Convi clamp. This configuration allows you to mount a front box onto a stand with a diameter between 0.2 and 2". The plate includes two M5 mounting screws for your Convi clamp, and the countersunk holes allow you to attach the plate to most any support. You slide your front box onto the built-in mounting pins and the plate's spring-loaded safety catch holds it secure.

I just bought this set and they are not 12x20 they are just under 11.75 x 19.75 just wondering if that is normal, if I bought a different brand of boxes to go with these would they be the same size as these or would they be 12x20? A: A 1/4" variance would be within what is normal for the Kupo Apple Box Set (4).

Q: 2. Would this ball also work with Ram mounts?

A: The Kupo Super Knuckle Hex Stud Ball for Convi Clamp has only been tested with the Kupo Convi Clamp. Using it with any other mount would have varied results.

Q: 3. Clamp Base, Thread Count for 2 Side Screws? Not 1/4 -20 Center Screw nor Set Screw.

A: The 2 side screws would be an M5 type thread.

Q: 4. Will Matthews C-Plus C-stand or other brands fir in the 2K kupos receiver -- because they don't fit in the Kupos runway base stands??

A: The Kupo Mitchell Round Mounting Plate with 1 1/8" Junior Receiver should accept 1 1/8" junior pins.

Q: 5. is this the same as Nest? they all fit in the biggest one?

A: The Kupo Apple Box Set (4) BH #KUKG070412 is not a nesting set. Each box is center supported.

Q: 6. Does a c stand fit in this opening?

A: It's mostly meant to be dropped in Large 4.5" Grip Heads. The Kupo C-Boom Clamp for 1-1/4'' and 1-1/5'' Pipes has T-Slotted Ear for mounting. It holds Holds 1-1/4" and 1-1/5" Boom Poles, due to some C-stands made different - you will need to measure your stand to be exact about fitting.

Q: 7. Will this hold Nanlite Pavotube II 30X?

A: Yes, the Kupo Twist-Lock Mounting Plate for Two lamps will support most led tubes on the market.

Q: 8. Are any of the holes on the plate threaded?

A: None of the holes on the Kupo Twist-Lock Mounting Plate for Two T12 Lamps BH #KUKG402012 are threaded.

Q: 9. Will this hold 1" tube like a C-Stand?

A: This C-Boom Clamp is only for 1-1/4" and 1-1/5" pipes.

Q: 10. Do these swivel so one can clamp horizontal and one vertical?

A: The two superclamps have a fixed position.

[2.9 oz / 81.6 g] I used these in school, mainly in the studio. Attaches to the baby stud on various stands to hold backgrounds and light shapers. Very strong and versatile. On par with the Manfrotto Super-Clamp. They can be used alone on the top of a stand or two can be connected with a hex joining stud (keeps the clamps from rotating after joined) to have a super-strong double-clamp, settable at various angles to each other, capable of holding large dowels, rod stock (for holding theatrical draperies), large light shapers, studio props, etc.. These are very useful in giving you more mounting options with building a set. There is also a captive safety pin in the base to keep the clamp from coming off the stud should the thumbscrew become loose. 5

[0.365 lb] This one has a ratcheted moveable handle which is why I buy it over the other brand from Italy. Hint hint. Far suppior design in my opinion. Buy it. Don't look back. 5

The easy-to-grip black powder coated surface is also a nice feature when you're bouncing lights around and want to minimize unwanted reflections. Good stuff. 5

[2.9 oz / 81.6 g] I love this thing. This tool allows me to rig up stuff way more easily. Opens a whole door of possibilities. I've been able to put a camera 10 feet up in the air with a c-stand with this for a music video. I've been able to rig up a microphone on my tripod to make a more compact rig and use one less light stand. 5
