A: The cable is 4 ft. long. It works well with my G15, and would work well with my 30D, 40D and 7Ds. It allows you to download pictures without removing the memory card. One of the pins on my on-board card reader for the CF slot got bent, making it useless, and wouldn't have if I used the USB cable instead.

[USB-A Male] Love these. Love all Monoprice Cables. Plus all the other random items I've bought from Monoprice. Earbuds, $20 Headphones, etc. No they aren't "Beats" but Beats aren't $20-$40. I've been buying, using, and praising Monoprice for over 15 Years. Note: Always buy extra. People will want and possibly take your cables. And you can afford to be generous with Monoprice's prices. [60 W] If you need a long cord, and who doesn't, this works great. I have enough things that still work with USB-A and I don't want to throw out stuff and make more electronic waste. 5
