Use the strong, lightweight Firefield Edge Carbine 6.6" M-LOK Railto mount optics, lasers, lights, and other accessories on the top, sides, or bottom of your AR rifle's forend. The full length of the top side has a Picatinny/Weaver rail, and an additional 7-slot rail section is included for attaching to the the bottom or one of the sides. The Edge Carbine Rail is made of durable 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, weighs 6.0 ounces, and mounts easily on any drop-in style rail system.

A: Depending on what battery you are attaching to the Hawk-Woods 15mm Mini V-Lok Fitting Plate (Unregulated), the output voltage from that battery will not change and pass through the D-tap ports. The regulated version will convert the voltage to 12V.

Q: 6. WHAT IS THE WEIGHT LOAD CAPACITY OF THE MACRO RAIL (not the weight of the rail)?

A: The load capacity of the Kirk LRP-3 Multipurpose Rail (7.5"), B&H # KILRP3, is 100 lb.

A: The FR3 unlike the FR2 has built in safety stops on the upper quick release carriage.

A: You would need a dual charger. The Hawk-Woods VL-MCF1 Mini V-Lok Hot Swap Camera Plate sends power from the batteries to the v-mount camera you connect the plate to.

Q: 9. I'd like to use this plate to power a Sony A7S III and Atomos Shinobi 5" Monitor from a mini V-mount battery like the Hawk-Woods Mini V-Lok 14.4V 98Wh. Would it be safe to power these two devices over the D-Tap ports?

A: Yes, it is safe to power the Sony A7SIII and Atomos Shinobi Monitor through D-Tap cables. It is best to get a regulated D-Tap cable for each device.

Q: 10. Can you use two batteries of different capacities? Say the 98 and 150 used together, assuming the 98 wh battery needs to be replace first will the VL-MCF1 know this and indicate a swap needs to be made?

A: Just as long as they are Mini Style V-Lock Batteries which will fit on this smaller plate, you can use batteries of different capacities.

[Aluminum] Like other reviewrs I have a Nikon 14-24mm f2.8G and the Fotodiox WonderPana Kit. The filter itself appears to be well made, comes in a nice protective case and it slides smoothly in the bracket. I haven't yet used the filter so I can't if it is truely neutral in color cast but many of the best ND's aren't totally neutral. I expect this filter will work very well when I need it. 5

[Aluminum] They need to make it shorter. I used this on top of a 3-9x42 scope and it was uncomfortably close to the eye relief, which is necessary in viewing the scope properly. 5

[Aluminum] The Nikon 14-24mm WA lens is extremely sharp, but I do use polarizers and split ND filters. Thankfully, FotoDioX came out with a filter system for the lens. The Grad ND filter is one of several available and they work very well. I have to say that the lens itself requires large filters and holder, and that does add bulk to your shooting kit. Nontheless, for the landscape work I do, they are essential if I want to use this extremely fine lens with filters. 5

[Aluminum] Where is the locking screws or is there only one? I only see a small screwdriver screw on the upper part and the Allen screw on the lower part. The documentation is terrible. It should show the locking screw/screws locations. 5

[Aluminum] This is a small, light telescope that I can take when hiking. I has a good, sharp image and is easy to focus. It is of course half the size of a small pair of binoculars. 5

[Aluminum] This is a tank of a bipod with features usually found on bipods at least twice the price. You should buy one before the price goes up. Its sturdy, tilts and traverses, making it a great asset for precision shooting. The legs extend under spring pressure making deployment quick and easy. The included lock lever is an add-on with many other tilting bipods but is included on this one which also traverses. One caution: I had to return the original to Firefield because they advised me to try to repair an assembly defect myself and the fix didnt work. I havent any of dozens of reviews noting the defect mine had (looseness between the cradle and traverse mechanism) and the replacement is perfect. This monopod is a bit on the heavy side, but I dont notice it on the 6.5 Grendel or DMR 5.56 ARs I mount it to. 5
