Add dovetail plate functionality to your camera with this Tilta Camera Cage for Sony FX6 with Gold Mount Battery Platewhen used with the optional Tilta Standard Dovetail. The lightweight Quick Release Baseplate is made from aluminum and stainless steel, with integrated rubberized grip pads to prevent your camera from twisting when mounted. It conforms to the LWS standard and includes a pair of black 15mm aluminum rods for mounting lens accessories to your camera. The baseplate also features an integrated lens adapter support bracket, to help protect your camera's lens mount from undue stress when using heavy or long lenses. Rubberized pads on the top of the plate help prevent your camera from twisting when mounted.

Dual ARRI-compatible rosettes on each side of the baseplate allow you to attach ARRI-style accessories such as handgrips or arm extensions. The rosette design allows you to orient and secure the accessories throughout a 360° range to suit your comfort and the needs of the shot. You can also adapt this plate to work with your ARRI-standard dovetail with an optional Tilta-standard to ARRI-standard multifunctional baseplate.

[1.1 lb] I like the design of the cage. I see people complaint about non compatible with Arri style dovetail but honestly that is pretty much the same situation for any other brand like Wooden Camera or Bright Tangerin. You will need an additional baseplate for Arri Dovetail so it can provide appropriate height between center of the lens and rods. 5

[Sony FX6] I have no problems with the design, and it has one huge advantage: with the battery in you can press the camera to your chest for handheld work. 5

[Baseplate] The kit all around is fantastic and the best one for this camera. Being able to connect the battery plate to the camera itself is a great design. Multiple ports to connect any additional equipment needed. Good price with everything that comes with this kit. 5

[Baseplate] Snaps right in and gives me power to my FX6 from a Core 98 for over 5 hours. I do mostly interviews, so I feel comfortable using it without screwing it in to a top plate. This gives me the option to quickly switch to bp batts for when the camera needs to be small. I would probably screw it in for run and gun stuff 5

[Baseplate] Amazing cage, great quality and very light but feels strong and sturdy. Used on a couple shoots with fx6 and its something I will have on on every shoot for a very long time. I will continue to update rig and add others bits soon. 5
