[V-Mount: VDC ] I've tried everything for my FX6 rig... believe me, and this really is the best option on the market. Unless you want significantly more weight to your rig, and cables galore; this is the one. But as always, nothing is perfect. The only negatives I've found are that the top 15mm rod adapter on the right side (camera-right) can't be mounted on the back spot without removing the rear shoulder strap mount. Also, if you're using the camera-left side d-tap port on the v-mount plate, the cable blocks the media slots, which isn't a huge deal but it can get annoying. Everything else is perfect. You can't go wrong. 5

[Connector] If you mess with it after first adding it to the camera's battery mount, it is easy to think, well this isn't very sturdy but after several months of...tough love...this piece is still solid as ever and hasn't let me down yet. 5

[Connector] no issues whatsoever. have this and the top plate on my fx6 and it's a perfect combo. doesnt overheat, the ports are solid, and with good vmount batteries you'll be shooting all day without incident. I get several hours out of 1 battery while shooting on my fx6 with audio and using a ninja v. 5
