Add support and accessory mounting to your Sony FX6 with this Tilta Multi-Functional Top Plate Sony FX6from Tilta. This lightweight yet durable top plate is machined from aluminum and stainless steel to fit snugly around the original FX6 top handle, and it provides support to Tilta's own top handle for the FX6. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory mounting holes with anti-twist divots are incorporated into the top plate for mounting accessories to your camera.

In addition, a pair of 15mm rod clamps allow you to mount 15mm support rods (not included) onto the top plate for additional accessory mounting. A sensor plane marking on top of the plate is useful for accurate focus measuring.

A: the power outs (D-taps) are independent of the camera and will always be on as long as there is a battery on the plate.

A: As the design of the Sony FX6 Full-Frame Cinema Camera (Body Only) and the Sony PXW-FS5 XDCAM Super 35 Camera System are different, the Tilta Multi-Functional Top Plate for Sony FX6 would not be compatible.

[0.49 lb] no issues whatsoever. have this and the top plate on my fx6 and it's a perfect combo. doesnt overheat, the ports are solid, and with good vmount batteries you'll be shooting all day without incident. I get several hours out of 1 battery while shooting on my fx6 with audio and using a ninja v. 5

The NATO doesn't slip when sliding over the cold shoe area, which is what my initial concern was. Very well thought out, versatile design, solid build – great price too. 5

[0.49 lb] have this along with the tilta vmount battery plate. wouldnt go on a shoot without this combo. plenty of different screw threads for whatever attachments you need, plus it's sturdy as hell once you get it on your camera body. i leave it permanently on my fx6. 5
