The Vello Warm Bounce Dome Diffuser for Canon 580EX IIsoftens the light output of the flash, reducing harsh shadows that are often the result when using direct flash. The dome provides even coverage across the entire frame and is ideal for use with lenses from 15mm to 200mm in 35mm format as well as their equivalent in other formats. Since each Bounce Dome is custom made for the flash, it slips on and off without the need for touch fastener tabs.

This dome has an amber tint to match the color emitted by tungsten halogen and incandescent bulbs. With the dome on your flash, simply set your camera to tungsten balance. Additionally, the diffuser can be used outdoors to lend warmth to skin tones in open shade or to match the light balance of a sunset or sunrise portrait.

[0.095 lb] It was a perfect fit for the 580EX II and the bounce was great for softening the light. I've used gel filters and have struggled keeping track of them and putting them on. This is a simple solution with great results 5

[Slip-On] I use this on my Godox 685 CII. I have 2 other diffusers but this one works best for a good fill flash. I don't know why the plastic seems to do better than the other cloth ones. Also it is easier to carry and to put on the flash quickly when needed, no elastic bands to fit around the flash, a gentle push fits it over the flash-head quickly. 5
